like the new look answers page, I hate it.I feel its back to front I should be reading the catagorys first on the left not last on the right. As for the Avatars, lets not even go there.

When I think of my high school days, I do miss them, but there were times I would talk to my mother after school about the constant teasing. I am not afraid to admit it used to make me tear up then, and now I just get mad thinking about it.

I don't play the blame game, but now that I'm 27, I feel that high school shaped my personality to what it is today. I'm now an introverted p***k...Actually, thats a bit harsh. I am an introvert: my mind is constantly 'scanning' a situation or I listen to something, but I never say much, if anything.

That alone I feel has indirectly shaped my professional life (I always sold myself short, and never spoke up), and my personal / love life (my self worth, confidence, esteem is low. I've never looked at myself in high regard).

I rarely go out, and I am uncomfortable in social settings. I don't care for bullies that abuse physically or verbally. I see myself beating the sh*t out of them at this reunion in my mind. I'm still hurt. Should I go?

this doesn't make it necessarily divine. if you were on an archeological dig and found the holy grail along with evidence to definitively prove that it was in fact the holy grail (jesus' name was carved into the cup along with a note from the templars/crusaders verifying its authenticity and the exact history of the cup which made logical sense if put into modern historical timelines).

what would you do with it?

I think it would make an excellent shot glass!

I was wondering If you find a little chest buried that has some gold coins inside and you want to declare it how much will the goverment take, you know if they take most of it or they just collect a tax, because in other countries the goverment takes almost everything declaring it nation's property and they just give you a tiny percent of it, so I was wondering if the same happens here un USA, how would it work.

I'm doing a lot of soul searching at the moment, I feel I would benefit from some spiritual insight... The trouble is, which path to choose? I really want to feel closer to something, I'm not conventually religious, so I do not want to follow that route. But I feel like I should be by the sea, I keep dreaming of being there (in with my nightmares) How do you know where your spiritual path lies? I feel very human and full of regrets right now..

ive just realized something about our current ways of looking for exoplanets. usually large observatories look at stars for long periods of time and wait for the planet to pass by the sun so we cant see it, and if that happens we know there is a planet there.

but think about how many flaws that has. it could be a cloudy night and you could compeltely miss it.

also, the planets have to be fairly large in comparison to their star in order for it to completely cover up the light coming from it. that means our search for an earth like planet is never going to work because all we can find are gas giants and rarely some massive solid planets.

and the biggest one. it only works if the earth, the star, and the orbit of the planet are in one plane. if their not all exactly in a line then the planet will never cross infront of the star and well never see it.

theres got to be a better way...are there any other techniques out there?

I'm feeling bad about eating meat and I'm not making a definte choice about being vegetarian but if I do become one...do you know the names of animal by-products that they put in makeup so that I know what not to buy? If it comes from an animal that is kept living, it's ok but if the animal has to die for the product to be made-- you see my point, right? I would also like to know which companies allow animal testing. Thanks!

Also, if you know the names of any animal byproduct-free makeup that would be great!

To be honest I just thought about this idea even though after reviewing my most current question and a few previous, some answerers indicated that a spouse must be authorized to accompany her husband to certain places such as Korea. First I'm a little shocked!. I thought that I was dealing with only the USA. Then I find out from my dad and yahoo experts (thanks all for taking your time to give me such great answers luv ya!!)that he could be sent to Alaska, Korea, Germany (I already knew about Germany from my own knowledge), and WHERE ELSE?). I am prepared for him to do his duty in the Middle East and really proud of him and will support him 100% when his tour there begins, but these other places. It doesn't seem fair that they would send him away from us to Korea or Alaska on an unaccompanied tour. I'm a little upset about this possibility. I was thinking of taking a break from asking questions but just want some answers about the concept of "Unaccompanied Tours".
