like the new look answers page, I hate it.I feel its back to front I should be reading the catagorys first on the left not last on the right. As for the Avatars, lets not even go there.

It's not that I'm resistant to change. But I was more comfor-table with the old format. As for Avatars, well I wish they had
different faces to show age categories. Everyone looks more
like a 15 year old. Except for the guys or grey hair. I don't
have grey hair, even for my age but they could show faces
a little plump for a senior. How many are that slim faced? I
figure I've had alot of years to show my age and plumpness,
and people enjoy me for who I am. But we all look like we're
from the same family. Or cousins anyway. LOL. I think we
should have more choices toward realism. Oh, I changed
my Avatar. Added the hat and background. The hat was
a cowboy hat. Does that look like a cowboy hat? Not to me.
But I had to settle for it, to have short hair. Or a straw cowboy
hat with long blonde hair. Not even close!

Yes I agree it does seem awkward. People do this to us all the time. You get used to where all the items and shelves are in a particular supermarket and then wham right out of the blue the beans are where the toothpaste was, the clothes are where the cards were.... need I go on. I think they just like to keep us on our toes! In the case of the supermarkets I think they try to introduce us to new products. So we can't go tearing down the aisles to the shelves we know so well in five minutes, we have to find them so we buy more. Can't see the reason for changing the answers page though. Must be some physiological answer somewhere.

Well, I'm glad it's not just me feeling like it's backwards. Half the time when I go to answer a question now, I'm hitting the wrong button and end up on the front (questions) page and have to start again. By the time I get used to it, I know it will all change again, guess they want to make sure we're all awake here. lol My avatar has kept changing every few minutes for 4 days now.

Actually I kind of like it....seeing the questions and answers first, without all the other "stuff" in the way. Know what you mean about the avatars, though....the other day Felines' must have changed from her smiling face to that sweet kitten at least a hundred times!

Aw, come on! WE may be a bunch of old dogs on here, but we can still embrace growth and change!
What is to dislike about it?...it is just different. Although I don't like the fact that they removed the search net bar below the question, which helped you decide if you wanted to try to answer the question or not. I guess they thought it was redundant.
As to the ads the rest of you get...I don't have them on my screen because I have my adblocker turned on high enough that they don't even show up.

I am a boomer and I don't like it but I thought it was because of the China taking over the internet yesterday in anger over the Dali Lama with Bush....thought maybe that was why it looked funny. I wonder who decides these things?

No one likes change but I don't seem to have any ads either and that's ok with me. We need to get things in perspective here. Some people in the US just had tornadoes and compared to that, they can change this everyday if they want .I will survive!
