1) It disproves the Genesis account
2) An understanding of it can lead to the creation of many new medicines and such

Only pick one. It seems virtually everyone thinks evolution is a tool to use against religion. Although I have my doubts of evolution, I think it can be very useful in medicine. For over a century we have debated religion vs evolution. Isn't it a shame that scientific principles are being used more to oppose religion rather than to create medicines? I think you should give up on caring about how someone thinks the world came to be or how many gods there are, and instead focus simply on science. The ancient Sumerians for instance performed complex eye operations. Would you rather they spent all their time debating how earth came to be? All these debates about how old the earth is or how we are related to chimps does not seem to help or benefit mankind.

I dried corn husks to use as accents for some ceramic corn cobs that I painted. They are hanging on my front door.
Now I am noticing they are looking limp and moldy.
I'm sure they are unsalvagable now but how can I keep next falls husks from turning yucky on me?

As a follow up to my last question (if u read it), Does anyone think it is possible to pass laws restricting breeding to breeders who take the time to properly place the puppies in suitable homes? To prevent people who have abandoned a dog from getting another? To perhaps create a screening process, enforced by city hall, on people who want a pet similar to how we handle human adoption? To educate people somehow on being lifetime owners, not impulse buyers? The government seems to think it is doing enough by telling people to spay/neuter their pets... As usual, they have put a band-aid on a gaping gangrenous wound and called it a day! 30% of ALL dogs, purebreed and mutt, dies in the home where they first came to as pups, a whopping 70% are given away or abandoned, because the stupid owner didn't realize that a dog is a living creature who requires care, not a stuffed animal or thing that can be turned off when it is not convienent for the owner to care for it! How can we make this law?

If you do? Do you allow your cat to run wild?
If you do, WHY???
My neighbor has a cat that she allows to stay outside, it fouls up my garden with its stinky "treats" and pees on my plants. For those of you that have cats and allow them to run free, how would you like it if I let my dog out to do this to your property??

I am not an animal hater, I have a cat and dog myself and would never allow it to run wild outside. Not only is it harmful for the animals (they can get hit by a car, diseased, bugs, etc) but they destroy other people's property...

Next time you guys let your cats out to frolic alone at night, think about your neighbors and what they may have to put up with when you aren't watching your animals..

If you're not a responsible animal owner, put the animal up for adoption!!
