I want to write a fan letter to JK Rowling. I am a big fan of hers and I would like to praise and thank her personally, even though she may not read it ...

Can anyone give me an address to put on the envelope? Bloomsbury? Or her personal address?

Some of you say 'you can write to her on her website'. But where EXACTLY on the website? I've been there a few times already but can you tell me the directions?

Write it like an open letter to a newspaper she might read. Biggest chance she might read it.

Bloomsbury :~
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc,
36 Soho Square,
London, W1D 3QY

What you need to do is send the enveloped letter addressed to JK, inside another envelope with a covering letter to Bloomsbury, asking them to pass it on for you.

As to whether or not she will read it...

Though I'm sure she would love to read all the letters from her fans - I doubt one one of those letters will ever reach one of her three homes. She would be swamped.

All letters are most likely handled by her publishers - who in return send out a formed letter, very impersonal.

The only alternative I can think of - her house in Scotland is a castle, since it is one - the whereabouts are known by the public. Get pass security - and you could probably drop it in her mailbox.

Otherwise - all addresses on the interenet will be her publishers.

From what i have study she will write the Harry Potter Encyclopedia. it is going to provide backround concepts on characters she wanted to describe about yet were decrease out by technique of editors. i'm in my opinion searching ahead to it. She plans to attend till the flicks are performed. After that, she says she would not ought to write. If something is composed of concepts that she feels she needs to position in writing about it... then she will. even though it in basic terms isn't for the money. She already is conscious there in basic terms isn't yet another craze of her books like there become with Harry Potter.

I'm sure she will read it; I just wouldn't expect her to get around to doing so until about the year 2020...
