I think it's great that you want to avoid products made from animals and tested on animals. Here is a link to companies that are cruelty-free.
Also, you don't need to be a vegetarian to buy cruelty-free products. (Although, of course, you'd be helping animals even more if you didn't eat them. That wasn't meant to sound sarcastic.)

i'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian..... and based on my research about cosmetic products...... some companies do use fish scales..... as a gloss for some cosmetics.
Many of the high-end brands we knew does get involved in animal testing...... most products from Unilever, Procter&Gamble.... and some that claims that they are free from animal testing were still under investigation......!
The only product i know that followed the strict rule of PETA..... that is 100% against animal testing, and no trace of any animal product... is The Body Shop... if you can find a store.... it's really great....!
I've done my research and it's proven.

I additionally use NYC eye shadow each and every now and then and that's ok too. Drug save form and positively low-value even though it works nicely, fantastically in case you employ the hide female hide stick first. i do no longer many times positioned on lip stick yet i take advantage of Blistix lip balm interior the sunshine crimson tube. good success...desire this became efficient!

I second the compassionate consumer guide. First, find which companies don't test on animals. Then read ingredients. Carmine, cochineal, beeswax, silk, lanolin...
I linked an ingredient list below.
