I think we need to be honest, and look at these scriptures in the context they were meant to be in, and not taking them to fit within our own teachings.

First, baptism is a work, is it not?

Catholics proudly Claim, Acts 8:37 as evidence of their claim. HOWEVER, Acts 8 (and the early part of Acts) is directed the JEWS. REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED, this is talking about the JEWS.

Now, note that it says REPENT, and THEN be baptized. Not "baptism saved you", do you see how they look at the bible to suit their own meanings?

Paul shows us how to be saved, and he simply says BELIEVE, this is for the Non-Jews to be saved. So simple, why must you corrupt the word of God?

Now, they give many other scriptures to try to back their claim that "Saved By Baptism" However, we must look closely at the scriptures and see, is this WATER Baptism, or are they talking about the Holy Spirit coming to us? When the Bible says "Baptism" it does not always equate to "Water Baptism".

Ok first off I would like to say I am not a homewrecker. Here's the story. I worked @ a conveniece store and the cops would come and get free gas. Well there is was a georgous cop who walked through the doors and we got to talking and everyday he would come in to see me. He was sweet and funny, but married. I mean I really fell for this guy. He was alot older than me but thats okay. One day I saw him on the side of the road and blew a kiss (just a friendly one) and he came in later that day and said this is a small town you could get me into trouble all the while have a grin. He said next time tug on your ear and I'll know what that means. Then I said what if I tugged on both ears then he was like I dont think I would be able to contain myself. He was always sending me mixed signals. Talking about his wife then flirting with me, well I think we were flirting. I dont know I dont want to feel bad but I think he was pursuing me as well. He made me giddy again. What do you think?

I bought a new SUV last week but I did not trade in my older SUV. I listed for sale but now I'm thinking maybe I should donate it. The Blue Book Value is about $2,700 but there about $700 in break repairs needed. So I listed it for $2,000 in Auto Trader. Would it be better to donate it to charity for the deduction?

What was/is the hardest part of your recovery?

I have almost 2 years clean and sober. stress management is one of the hardest parts for me. I do not deal well with my anger and I often snap at people for almost no reason. then i feel so stupid for being out of control like that. I dont get voilent but sometimes I want to. I am also bipolar and my moods fluctuate a lot. I can go from extremely happy to a sobbing mess in no time over nothing at all. commercials will make me cry. haha. I self medicated that disease for so long it is difficult to handle sober sometimes. I am on medication but it is still hard. I am having one of those down days. maybe because it's raining. I just wanted to talk about it and hear from others what the hardest parts are for them. serious answers only please.

My mother in law has my husbands power of attorney right now. We are having twins and I was wondering if it should be transfered into my name. He is in the military and leaves about two months before I am due. there is also no guarantee that he will be able to come home and I was wondering about tricare because you need to be the power of attorney to enroll the kids and you only have a finite time to do it.

she needs help she has to get up every 3 hours to change an overnight pad w/ a super plus tampon at night. also she can get through the night by wearing a super plus tampon, a super heavy over night pad, and a depend diper. she has to change it a lot. she is at my house tongiht, tomorow, and sunday night. we are out of school so... but she needs more pads and tampons and my parents arent home and we need the money for pizza tonight cuz we have like nothing here to eat ... i mean nutin
