I have an application here to a telecommunication business. It says I can submit a resume along with it. Now I've mostly been a cashier for my whole job field and don't offer anything special. Do you think it's necessary?

I am going in for a job interview and I want to be prepared! I really want this job! I want to have at least 6 solid questions prepared and ready to go. What are the best of the best questions I can ask a potential employer? Lots of answers please! I will read them all! Thanks in advance!

I already thought of asking if there is potential for andvancement within the company and ask for a business card. Is it inproper to ask about salary in a interview or if they provide schooling for their employee's?

I have been advised to book in advance for the restaurants that I want to eat in to avoid disappointment... But how do I know which ones to book when I have never been there before!!! And how do I go about soing it? I have booked to travel with Virgin.... will they do it for me?

I took a pregnancy test last week(cvs generic first response) and it was negative. Threw it in the trash and thirty minutes later decided to check it again. There was a faint but very noticeable positive(even my grandma could see it without her glasses on!)....I know generally you aren't supposed to look at the results after ten minutes but I can't help but be hopeful. I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them and if they were really pg?
I took another test(same kind) the next day and it took all day but later that day it came back with a faint faint positive. Crazy!!! Maybe they were defective tests.....

I am married - have been for 21 years and my wife and I have a great deal of difficulty communicating with each other. We have three kids and basically - until now - they're the sole reason we've stayed together - at least the last five years. I wanted to know if there are other people in the same situation.

We are stationed at Miramar in San Diego, but my husband will be at 29 Palms for Sgt's Course during the time of the Ball so they said we'd have to go to that one which we've heard is in Las Vegas. We have a 2 year old little girl and are trying to get all the arrangements prepared early so that we know we are good to go. Thanks! :) ~Amber

Ok, I'm going back to school as a late junior, and this degree seems to be the fastest way of earning my degree. It's gonna have a focus in GIS(geographic information systems). I'm planning on going for my masters right after I graduate. Do any of you have experience with a general studies degree? I was looking at the requirements for it, and it basically looks like a BA, like they are identical. More and more employers are seeing the benefit of a liberal arts education, so this seems like the right route to take.

Last Christmas my mom invited me, my husband and kids to Christmas dinner. She gave us our gifts a few days before Christmas and we opened them here at home on Christmas morning. When we got to her house to have a dinner with the family, my brothers, their kids and wives and my step brother and his family, we all ate and then when dinner was finished everyone, except my own little family and I, were asked to go into the other roon and open their gifts, which they all did together. Obviously we felt left out so we decided to go and my kids' feelings were hurt terribly seeing all that as were mine. My question is, seeing as how it went last year do you think we should again spend Christmas with my mom or politely decline? I haven't even talked to her about it because it wouldn't make any difference if I did. Any ideas on what to say to decline her invitation this year would be greatly appreciated.
