I've had luck with those little plastic ant traps, there is poison inside, the ants go in and eat the poison, bring it back to their nest and feed the rest of the ants. Try to put the traps in the path of the ants, I've even had to cut the top off of the traps, take a butter knife and take some of the poison and spread it in the ants pathway. You probably shouldn't do that if you have real young children that could get into them.

Please see our publication regarding controlling ants at home. There are a million home remedies out there and though some are somewhat effective in killing one or two, they won't get the nest and stop the problem.

we used an exterminator, they have this odorless spray that does not allow them to reproduce and kills them and is harmless to humans and pets, safe for children. It was worth it for $40, they did a good job, no problems since.
