I took a pregnancy test last week(cvs generic first response) and it was negative. Threw it in the trash and thirty minutes later decided to check it again. There was a faint but very noticeable positive(even my grandma could see it without her glasses on!)....I know generally you aren't supposed to look at the results after ten minutes but I can't help but be hopeful. I wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them and if they were really pg?
I took another test(same kind) the next day and it took all day but later that day it came back with a faint faint positive. Crazy!!! Maybe they were defective tests.....

if you are pregnant it should show up within the 10 minute window. if it took all day for another positive to show up you are probably not pregnant. the test is INVALID after the time has expired. that's why there are directions and they should be followed.

i suppose there is a reason for the time scale given so that results aren't misleading
the only thing i know about tests when used correctly is that if the reading is positive then you are pregnant but if it is negative that can be inconclusive - try again
i would suggest leaving it a day or two and using the test as designed
hope you get the result you want

It could have been an evaporation line...if its taking all day for it to come up then that is probably what it is..try taking a first response or another brand name test and see what they come up as...Ive been using ovulation sticks for the last few days and they do the same thing...

after the time shrink, the attempt isn't good... and thats fantastically plenty all there is to assert a faint constructive after the time shrink, isn't a great. they say its no longer good, cuz maximum checks will tutor a great after 10 minutes, even on a unfavourable effect by way of evaporation strains.

If you are unsure then I would buy a name brand test and retest yourself. If you get the same results then I would call your doctor, your doctor will run a blood or urine test to find out for sure
