Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just saying I wouldn't expect churches to be the first place to go for a Jack O' Lantern

Crazy, I didn't know churches sell pumpkins. Where I come from, we grow our own pumpkins. I have no idea where I'd buy one other than the grocery store.

Now I want to carve a pumpkin tonight. I think I will!

Nice to see you here, Mr. "I'm Retiring". :)

I did once, but they jack the price up so high it's ridiculous. I can go to Wal-mart and for half the money, get a pumpkin three times the size.

I always thought that was funny too. Also think it is funny when churches decorate with Christmas trees:P

Many churches dont outright condemn Halloween. Most churches I go to say it is a personal decision. Some oppose it because of it's pagan roots, yet other celebrate it because it really isnt about that anymore, its about being a kid and having fun.

My church growing up had an alternate celebration for Halloween. They called it a Hallelujah party. The kids would dress up as their favorite bible characters, play games, and pumpkins were carved with religious symbols and stuff.

Tons of junk food too...and one year I kicked everyone else's tail at the Nintendo playoff. That's how I rolled.

Well, I think it's wrong, since they usually do it for Halloween purposes and Halloween is a pagan holiday that's associated with the occult. BTW: Churches aren't the ONLY places selling them, you can get them all over the place this time of year.
