Im on the computer alot at night, and i always hear this weird, long vibrating sound coming from the kitchen. i go look in there, and can't find where its coming from. When i come back to the computer, all the stuff i've been typing has been erased and everything gets Xed out. This keeps happening to me.
Everyone in my house is usually asleep, and wouldn't bother to do that anyway.
Whats going on here? is my house haunted?

I was born in the UK. My new son was just born in Canada. I am not married but the boy has my last name. My question is can my son take British Citizenship via inheritance. Some one told me that because I am not married that he can't, but then some one told me that rule had changed recently and he could.

Rally towels are good for player morale, they're good for the overall excitement of the game. A lot of teams in other cities hand them out to fans during playoff games, but never in Boston. Why not in Boston?

The biggest argument is that the towels will wind up on the field/court/ice...but they never have this problem with fans in other cities, do they?

Well from Sep 11th the markets came a long way, hitting new historical highs even. Well im a student of dow theory, and i suspect that the bearish market is about to begin. Im thinking if DJI goes below 13,113 , SandP less then 1400 nasdaq goes below2700 it will be a definite signal of a bearish market, your opinions?

Could anyone explain to me what this passage - from the Declaration of Independence - means? There are some words you may not understand so below the passage shows the definitions of some.

" The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. "

" Usurpation," means illegal seizure of power.
" In direct object, " means the goal of.
" Tyranny, " means government by an unjust ruler.

Could you best explain this passage into simple language a third grader could understand and a picture that I should draw that represents this passage. Thanks.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2+ years and I have never been this confused about something in my life. I always seem to come last, and we have a son together now so u would think that would change but it hasn't. He still lives at hm. with his mom and he is 23 y/o, his preg. sis who is in her mid 30's also lives there too but that's another story. My problem is that it's never 50/50, I 've always gone above and beyond wheter I was sick, preg. or just didn't feel like doing anything and he still takes better care of them than he does me. As of right now his mom is driving his new car which he got just oveer a yr. ago, he is now in one of his older cars that doesn't work so well which is why he got the car in the 1st place. Anyway he is also still paying the car payment and ins. on both cars and just got her tag without any help from her. This was supposed to temp. and she's been driving it for more than 6 months. She and his sis treat him like he's their man rather than

Ok after a ton of reading I've come up with the following plan for 3 medical charges. If anyone wants to tell me this is a bad idea, let 'er rip.. 2 of the 3 medical bills were for the same date of service and the other was for a separate date. The collection agency is not reporting the correct original dates to the big 3 (they report them as much more recent; probably the date they got involved).

- call the hospital and ask them if we can just pay it in full through them directly and have them delete any record of collections

If/when that doesn't work..
- dispute the dates first with all 3 authorities, ask for verification

Since I'm sure they will verify them..
- settle the medical bills with the collection agencies for the minimum amount since the credit score is trashed anyway and paid in full wouldn't help much

Also the hospital never offered charity care or a payment plan. Are they required to?

I bought my home in February of this year for $309,000 and it is completely obvious that it is no longer worth that today, just 8 months later. While this doesn't bother me too much since we plan on staying here for years to come, I am having a problem with my city's tax assessor. My wife had to go meet with him tonight by herself since I could not make it. (their appeal hours are set up for 1st shifters only and I work 2nd shift). I went on Realtor.com and printed out 10 comparable homes for sale in our neighborhood all of which are selling much cheaper per square foot than what we paid and many of them are newer. The assessor was very arrogant and didn't want to hear anything my wife had to say. He just kept saying that we "set the bar" by paying $309,000 for it so that's what the assessment will be too bad. Obviously anyone who reads the papers knows that we are in the middle of a huge subprime mortgage meltdown and home values have come down substantially. Please help.

Hi,
I keep having to set up a static ip address to get some programs to connect to the internet properly. I know it is probably considered a simple task to many, but I keep having to do it and sometimes it just doesn't work for some reason. So is there a program out there that changes your configurations in order to set up a static ip address for you- for vista?
