In 2005, Pope Benedict was facing a lawsuit accusing him of conspiring to cover up the sexual molestation of three boys by a seminarian. So, he asked Bush to grant him immunity from lawsuits in the U.S. And of course, Bush granted it.

If he had nothing to worry about, why did he need immunity?

I was *lucky* enough to get glasses at age 44. I was given bifocals but at times I see better up close w/o them. I guess I'm nearsighted as I can't see crap (details) from far away. Does anyone have a hint as to how to get used to them? I am due for an exam and a new pair (i get nearly free ones once/year as i'm on assistance) of glasses next month....the doc said a year ago that I need them for long distances and what a difference THAT made. He said I didn't really need the focals and that I could switch back and forth with these focals and reading glasses. What would YOU do????

I think they are disgusting, and stupid. Why do we have these over rated eating contests where people stuff their faces with food, while thousands across the globe are dying of starvation? along with excessive hair growth,leg/feet swelling,lower back pain, no period for over a year.it's like period cramps 3x! I've been to a gynecologist and endon. It showed extremely high male hormone levels with normal insulin levels. I also took an ultra sound and it showed a 3cm cyst. But I got the ultra sound in April of last year (the blood work I just got done) My doctor has but me on birth control to restore my periods (for the 4 months,nothing yet though) and a pain medication. But nothing seems to help. And the pain is just getting worst. So my question is, what can I do for the pain? Like are there certain excercises to home remidies that I can do? And I am not over weight/under weight. Before I got the pain,I ran 4 miles a day. Is there anything that I can do to spark my period as well? I'll be getting an abdominal/pelvic CT scan in a week as well. Thanks for reading. Please help,the pain is taking over my life!!

Hi, I have a question i recently adopted a year old male german shepherd and both of his parents are police dogs. I forgot to ask the owners if he was ofa cert but i lost the number. If a dog was a police dog does it have to be AKC AND OFA HIP CERT in order to become a police dog. I do NOT plan on breeding him but i am concerned about hip problems as he grows older

at 21 i had my abortion but not cause it was a mistake but cause i had nothing going for me and no money ,i wanted to be able to give my child everything i had growing up! after i had my abortion my mother bought me a new born puppy.i told her "i don't want it take it back" so she took it home with her .after about 1 day all i could think about was that puppy ,so i called her up and said "i want the puppy now".so she brought him to me.he came right to me so i picked him up and all he could do was shiver and look at me like i just saved his life,in a way i felt like i did !so my question is how do i know for sure if my child reincarnated into a small dog i call piglet??

I believe that God has a plan for EVERY child.

Our son was exposed to horrible thing while in utero and by the grace of God his b-mom and I were brought together just before she was would have made a decision that she would regret FOREVER. Like she thought, he was born with many problems and God provided her with a couple equiped to care for his needs and then some.

She has learned from her mistake and has gone on to parent her next child who was born healthy.

I feel so blessed that God (not me) gave him a chance at life and I get to be a part of that

Does anyone else feel SOOOOOO BLESSED?

I'm 25 y/o, single, no kids. I'm just getting out of a 4yr relationship that's been going bad. (We lived together; I never lived alone and have been living with him for past 3.5 years. He moved out of state recently for work and I stayed here.)
I've recently done somethings I'm not proud of. My friends and I are slipping apart (they're getting married, etc.) and part of me doesn't like/trust some of them entirely anymore.

I feel like I'm in a rut and I would like to move somewhere to get away from it all and start my life new. I've never really been single or experienced what I've wanted to do and I feel like now is the time to do it. I am a bit depressed now but nothing out of the ordinary, I'm just in a rut. I want to change the direction my life is going but I don't know where to start..

Any ideas of somewhere good for singles to relocate?
Any tips on ways for me to start over?
I need to do something for me for a change and just need a nudge in the right direction!

The reasson i feel i could be is because he did ejaculate in me and i've been getting really sick to my stomach and alot of foods make me sick now and i've been sleeping alot in my classes which is really unusual 4 me and i'm not sure if the cramping is indicating if my period is comming even though its a week late now. And tommorow i have to go to the doctor for my allergies and they do some kind of x-rays and im scared that if i am preg. the x-rays will kill it I'm just so confused any advice will help thank-you.
