They do say that, but I don't believe it.
What about all the people who lived before Christianity was invented?
What about people in the far corners of the world who have never heard of Christianity?
What about a Hindu nun who devotes her entire life to helping her community?
There are many others, it simply makes no sense. It does however make sense for the church to insist on this in order to convert more people.

Have you read Dante's Inferno? He approaches the question of whether or not other religions will go to hell by placing them in their own purgatory. If you didn't believe in Jesus Christ because of the absence of opportunity, you shouldn't be penalized. The same holds for those who lived a good life without Christ in their lives.
As for whether the Christian God is real, you must also include the Jewish and Muslim gods as they are all one and the same. And that question will be answered differently depending on who you ask. An atheist will definitely say no whereas a Catholic Priest will definitely say yes. Each can even support their statement with data, either biblical or otherwise. However, this question is one left to faith, and it must be answered on your own.

I hope that I can make since of this. Take a maze and there are many ways to go but there is only one way to go completely through. Jesus said that he is the way and no man can come to the Father except through and by him. This is the way that I see it and I think the Bible backs me up on this. Peace and God bless

I am Christian and do believe that he is real. I also believe him to be the God of the Jews and of all people.
I have been taught that each individual is judged according to the knowledge of God's teachings that he or she has, and whether their actions are in line with that knowledge.
I hope this makes sense to you since I tend to get a little vague when I am tired.

The Christian God is real. God loves all people. I believe that God gives each person the religion best suited for them. SOme religions have more truth than others. Having said this, Christianity has the fullness of truth, because its founder, Jesus Christ, is God-incarnate! While Buddha, Mohammad, Confucius, Zoroaster, etc. were just regular men. God bless.

You don't have to be christian you don't have to be religious at all really god loves you no matter what even if you don't believe in him, it's your business if you don't. Priests are just men themselves you can't always just follow them sometimes you have to follow your own path. But i don't think this is true since religion wasn't here when men kind started at least not like it is now or 100 years ago it's what you believe kind of.

1. God is God. Same God, different faces different names. (Oh, watch me get "thumbed down" for that one. :p )
2. No. Religion is a part of earthly existence. I do not believe that it will have much of a place in the afterlife.

If you believe that Jesus Christ, the only Son of God is your Lord and Savior, I don't believe that you will go to hell no matter what religion you are.
Romans 10:13 says "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Yes, my God, the Christian God is real.
Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life" and that no one comes to the Father except through Him. So, if any religion does not believe in Jesus, and that He died for our sins, and that He rose from the grave, then that religion's followers will go to hell.

Well I've never met God. Do you see that in all religions they believe in something bigger than themselves? I don't think there are different religions in whatever awaits us after death.
