Who else agrees that eating contests are horrible?

I think they are disgusting, and stupid. Why do we have these over rated eating contests where people stuff their faces with food, while thousands across the globe are dying of starvation? What has America come to?? I mean, honestly, they call stuffing their faces a sport to get money. It's truly disgusting, and ridiculous. Anyone else agree with me?

I agree with you wholeheartedly!! Watching people dip hot dog buns in water to make them slide down more easily and then seeing them gag down entire hot dogs is enough to make you sick. It is disgusting, unappealing, probably very harmful to the person doing it and pointless, as well. This is entertainment? Eating a huge amount of food in a matter of minutes is not doing your body any favors. I don't watch it unless it is on the news and then you are forced to see the idiocy of the few participants who are foolish enough to go along with the program. Insanity at it's worst.

many contestants have unbelievably high motabalisms, or train to consume the most amount of food in a short amount of time, they don't eat like that all the time. I've seen a champion who has a eight pack huge biseps and just huge muscles everywhere.

It's a waste of food. Moreover, this country doesn't need anymore encouragement to stuff their faces. I know some professional eaters are slim and in good shape, but a lot of the ones I see are overweight, and they don't look healthy.

i'm particular that some believe you although you may evaluate issues such because of the fact the potential of the testator. What if that guy or woman became into thoroughly senile and became into unduly stimulated by potential of, say, their housekeeper? could that housekeeper be waiting to hold sway over a guy or woman who does not have the flexibility to truly verify what they like or prefer? What your suggesting could enable abuse and permit no recourse for the testator's family contributors or the people who have been named interior the prefer whilst the testator had complete psychological potential.

I agree that eating contests are wretched excess. along those same lines, I disagree with misusing food, like egg-smashing contests or having a vat of beans dumped upon you as you lost a contest

I see where you're coming from. However it is a fun spectacle. It has gotten a bit out of control though.

Food Eating Contests are just a form of idiotic amusment. People have died in them, trying to win a " Super Cool Prize! " They are dumb, but yet amusing.

Yes sir, absolutely, many people worldwide are hungry while others are playing smashing food on their faces, many people wouldn't like it because they have done it before but think about it, what if you were one of those poor hungry people, you know exactly that you dislike something that doesn't look like your style and you become angry on them, those hungry people think the same way when they see you doing that..... we are all brothers people don't forget it although you don't want to accept it...
