I stopped work earlier this year because of a very serious episode of the mental illness I have battled for years. I am stable now and applying for a job.

For obvious reasons, I do not want to mention anything about my illness on the application or in the interview. It's none of their business, and it would prevent me from being considered for the job (I live in a small town that is still about 40 years behind society).

I am not a whackjob and I am very talented, but I am at a loss as to how to answer this question. "Personal reasons" is a HORRIBLE answer - way too vague. I've heard this from lots of HR people. How else can I answer?

I'm a freshman in high school, and I know what i want to do with my life.I want to go to NYU and be a theater major. I just need to know what i have to do to get there. My GPA is about a 3.9 and i do a bunch of theater outside of school and alot of other extra curriculars. mine has 2, a baby bat and a kitten. it is so cute because when we are away for a long time he will find them and bring them up onto our bed. he also does that with his favorite blanket. sometimes he only makes it 1/2 way to the bed because the blanket is kind of big.

I say that Genesis 1:25 makes this impossible.

Gen 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Even a slight change is a difference in "kind". Of course, for me this means the Bible is wrong. Does someone see a way of understanding this verse that reconciles it with evolution? And none of this false distinction between so called micro and macro evolution, since these terms are generally not accepted by scientists any more - biologists see this as all one process.

They have big signs that say "Viet Nam Vet will work for food" or "Three children starving. Need food and money. God Bless". I have stopped to offer food on my way home from the market or a fast food place and they gratefully accept. I know people who have brought them home to work, but they don't work.

But this one takes the cake:
My husband and I were walking thru San Francisco and there was a hippie looking guy sitting on the sidewalk with a hat in front of him on the ground. His sign said "Need money for beer". My husband got such a kick out of his honesty that he put a dollar in the hat!

What kind of experience have you had with this subject?
