A superball of mass m is dropped vertically from a height, h. If the impact time with the floor is {delta}t, what is the average force on the ball? (Assume that the superball bounces back to the same height.)

I think the answer is :

(m*(gh)^0.5)/(2*{delta}t)

is this right? if not, what part is wrong?

what was joe gibbs thinking when he said he is moving to Toyota
from Chevrolet and how long do you think it will take him to make Toyota as good as he was with Chevy i mean I'm a huge Chevy fan i got 2 Impala SS and 1 Monte Carlo SS and I'm just wanting to know why he'd give up Free Corvette Z06's with Joe Gibbs Racing Mods and get Camry's

Ok this is really getting out of my control!!
My really good Fren which is a year older than me has a love interest in me!!!
its really freaky!!!
I didnt know it at first.. wen i heard it from my friends that she likes me,etc..
at first i thought " well arent friends supposed to like each other"

So i didnt care much and time goes by she kept calling me mushy names and she dosent even call her boyfriend !!
After a few weeks.. she broke up with her boyfriend and he came to confront with me.
He told me that she broke up with him because of me. i was like wth!!
Few days later she confessed to me at a staircase behind the school which was quite deserted..
i didnt want to hurt her feeling ..so i said something stupid like...
"friends should love each other right??"
she totally got the wrong idea..
tried to kiss me.. i got so freaked out that i punched her and raan back home
Wth? i punched her and regretted it, but i had no choice! i aint homo.. no what shld i do? apologise?

My boyfriend and I have decided an year ago that we would get married. Now, his parents are forcing us to get married and I would so love to do that this December. I have a 3 week long vacation and Christmas would be so perfect time! So..what is the problem?

My elder sister is going through a rough time and in the conservative family I'm born in, I cannot get married before her. She is now seeing a guy and hopefully things will get good for her. But, I do not know if that will happen before Xmas. His parents have asked me couple of months back..if we atleast wanted to have an engagement party @ Xmas. Things were really bad then and I said no. I wanted to wait out for my sister. Now, i'm going chicken and want my engagement to happen. I have asked my boyfriend if this was still a possibility. He sternly says "NO. IT IS TOO LATE TO ARRANGE EVERYTHING AND INVITE EVERYBODY. " My parents are really worried about my sister and I don't know how to tell them either. Am I just being selfish?

I am not here to argue with Christians who believe That Jessus has already paid for their sins and as long as they ask for forgivness in His name they will be pardoned of all sins committed.Even if this belief is correct, do u not think that such thinking should be at least down played a lot as it encourages crime? I mean prisons are full of criminals who have no remorse and gangs roam around with big heavy crosses around their necks.
Especially more noticeable in Latino 2nd and subsequent generations. Again I am not here to knock Christianity but just alarmed at all these nuts who seem to think they have a win win foolproof system who are screwing up civilisation.

Lately my laptop has been acting strangely. When it goes into standby and I bring it back or sometimes randomly it will get a really choppy hard to explain picture and then turn black and wont come back. Or sometimes when I start it up it makes a BEEP and then my clock in the tray gets reset to 12:00 in 2002???

I live in Mo and you can get a permit to carry a concealed. I dont want to carry a concealed weapon or anything. The issue is that my dad gave me a gun for me to keep at home. My husband is an over the road driver and I stay at home. He feels better with it in the house and so do I because I am alone with our two small children. ( 6yrs and 1 yrs) It stay in the top of my closet and they have no idea it exists. I have practiced shooting and can handle it well enough to defend myself. Is it illegal for me to have though? I didn't buy it or anything. Can I get in trouble for having it? Its a small revolver not like a machine gun or anything. I dont have a criminal record and never got more than a handful of tickets when I was younger. My husband doesnt have a criminal record either. He I think has had like 1 ticket his entire life for speeding. I dont know where my dad got the gun. I am assuming he purchased it legally also since he is also a law abiding citizen. Just worried
