If a homeowner sells at a loss because the market has dropped, but his ARM has kicked in and his payments have gotten too high for him to pay, the "write-off" of part of his loan is counted by the IRS as income. This phantom income is taxable. I thought I heard that Congress passed a bill which stops this taxation. True?

My mom's going back to college and needs powerpoint for presentations since it'll be easier to use. They said to make it on your own computer then bring something to put it on theirs to project it. Problem is we don't have powerpoint. Is there a way to download it and transfer it from computer to computer? Thanks.

So I pretty much know I am going to be fired tomorrow. I had some issues with a sick child lately and missed some work. They wrote me up on it in the past and I had to miss again due to that reason. I have noone else to watch him when he is too ill for daycare. Anyway I came to work today ( i missed Friday) and the boss told me "we will be having a meeting about this". That was it. So all day I waited...nothing. Well policy is that HR is called from another building and they come in for it too. The HR lady was gone today. So tomorrow I know it is coming someone told me they overheard it Friday. (nice I know) so what would you do? I feel humiliated to go in tomorrow just to hit the door...but I want to say my piece too. What would you do? Go in to be fired basically or call in and say I quit see ya? Can you get unemployment for absenteeism if you have a sick child? HELP shift starts at 7 am!!!!! :(

is it possible to take the necessary pre quisite courses in a community college?

or if I want to go to a calstate...and I take the prequisite coruses that I need to 2 years...am i able to transfer to like a pharmacy grad school?....then i wouldn't have completed the four years necessary to get a bachelors from a csu...

I go to a private school where you have to pay 10,000 dollars a year. This school is very expensive and very well known. I make all a's and maybe one or two b's.
