So, Im thinking about hitchhiking from Texas to the midwest.....Illinois to be exact. Im wondering, what should I bring along? and should I tell the person I am going up there to see/stalk, that I am coming?

also, if you are going that way anytime soon, can I hitch a ride?

Yes, it would be very nice of you to tell the person that you plan to "stalk" that you are on your way! I would not even think about the highway in Texas......they think nothing of running you over there. I know.....my husband is from Texas! Cutest guy in the world.....even if he thinks the highway is his!
Take a bus! A girl on the highway is not safe these days!

I am not going there any time soon, but if I were I would give you a ride!

Hmmm don't warn me, I like nice surprises. lol

Well yes I live in Illinois, but we don't know each other yet, so I highly doubt it is me. Though I kinda wish it was, your picture looks very cute!

Don't hitchhike, it is not safe. Take a bus or train. Much safer and not too expensive.

hitching is fun but you have to be really careful for two reasons. one you have to be careful who you ride with. chances are the person who picks you up is by themselves and figures the company would be nice so make sure to go with your gut instincts, if you get a creepy vibe and sense something bad then back off. another reason is that hitching is illegal in just about every state so dont get busted. but if you hitch have a good time and yes it i sa good idea to let the person know your coming.

LOL...this has to be a joke. If you are thinking of Hitchhiking in this day and age ...the only thing you need is a will! I don't know you but I think a bus ticket is well worth the price of your life.
