im just wondering does this stuff about taking away a sickness because of god its soooo weird i was just watching on tv. and then this guy put his hand on this guys face and he fell...i believe in god but whats going on in the show?? its soooo confusing and creepy looking

That sounds like Benny Hinn, as for that quick of healing, forget it, it takes time for spiritual healing, it depends on how many demons are present, they think they may be healed, but they're not.

I believe that the "thing" that they do is called "faith-healing." Faith-healing is the practice of convincing the "believers" that their god will cure whatever ailment they have. It is like suggesting to a cancer patient that they are not sick anymore and this particular cancer patient would suddenly feel better upon believing that he/she was healed of his/her illness. Generally, you have to have faith that you will be healed. You have to understand that your god has taken away your sickness through the words and gestures of the person who performed the faith-healing.

Modern day christians believe in this because they've seen it happen with their own eyes or they have experienced it themselves. This practice does work, well, in accordance to your faith, of course. But the faith you have should be put not through the healing of the sickness and not through the healer. You must believe and trust that God will heal you of your sickness. That's the kind of faith that it requires for it to really manifest.
