My wife's grandfather was a bomber pilot in WWII. He was shot down over Italy and wounded. He never received any awards for his injuries or his heroic escape with his crew back to Allied forces. Can anyone provide any information on how he could be recommended for at least the Purple Heart that he deserves?

I read here (http://www.familymatters.tv/level_4/pets/gotfleas.htm) that you can put nematodes in your yard to get rid of fleas, but I looked em up in wiki and it says that they're roundworms.. It's not very healthy/safe to purposely give your dog roundworms, is it? Or would it be fine to do that then de-worm him? Hm..

Hi,I am a great enthusiast of going to the gym, where I split my time between cardio work..running, and strength/weight training..muscle building.
I've not been since last wed due to flu.
I hope to get back later this week.
Will I lose much strength and fitness due to my missed week/flu?
Or is strength/fitness not lost in a week?

I'm currently a Theatre student in the US. I eventually want to go for my Master's, and I would really love to get it in England. At my school, the only difference between the two degrees is that a B.A. requires 4 semesters of a foreign language, and the B.S. requires an internship- not much of a difference and I really think that an internship would help me more than a foreign language, especially since I'm hoping to work as a professional actor. I'm just not sure if a BS is as transferable for a Master's program- in England or anywhere else. Also, is a B.A. or B.S. even transferable for a M.F.A?

I'm a person who keep's to myself. Introvert and a bit of a cynic. I find that when I'm out in a public place, like sitting at the foodcourt in the mall. I often look around and wonder what everyone else is doing. What dark thought or things they have going. Like that couple sitting across from me. Should they really be sitting there with their wife or husband? You know? I don't do this is a stalker kind of way. Am I'm not trying to be intrusive.They're just thoughts that pop into my head. I think it goes with me being a non-social person and a cynic. Especially in society today. But anyway, anyone else do this or am the only one?

my husband gets mad when i talk to my friends on the phone or even my family. He always complains if i go do anything with anyone besides him. Hes a truckdriver and he wants me to talk or text on the phone all the time when hes over the road. I dont wnt to sit on the phonelike that, but when i tell him that he says ,you dont care to talk on the phone with your mom or your friends. I dont even talk to my friends that much anymore since i been with him, is he controling?

I've been wondering for years - why sex ed focuses on contraceptives, and science.
Why no morals & why not pleasure. Why do so many people feel uncomfortable talking about their sexuality, if they masturbate, if they're gay, why do so many people not understand thing like arousal and orgasm. I know sex ed takes place when we are young, but love making and all sexual pleasure is a great gift to human kind; but with all the secrets around it appears dirty

I'd just like to hear everyone's thought about sex ed and the wider issues of sexuality...

i had this dream before(once)
about a year ago..
i have never been to any such place in my whole life..

it was sunset time..
i saw that i was in a big fort ..
the fort was facing sea..
on the roof of the fort was etched beautiful romantic figures of radha &krishna etched on the terrace .. some were of buddha too..
i saw that i was roaming on 1st floor when 1 of my uncles called me..
i went up the stairs ..

i had this beautiful view..my heart felt so good..so serene..

There is a girl, 25 years old who has become friends with me. I'm old enough to be her mother and have been a christian for about 18 years. I offered to do a Bible study with her. She is from a mormon background and is confused from that. She has a drug and alcohol addiction and has tried to commit suicide many times. She goes to church every Sunday pretty much, but is living as though she hasn't given her life to the Lord. I told her I would do this study with her, but I am also going to make sure she is serious about it. I'm seriously praying about this. Do you have any suggestions about where we should start? We talked and went out for a week. At the end of the week I asked her, if she wanted to continue to date? She said, maybe. Well, I called her the next day and she never answered. I stopped calling. Well, a month ago I called her and we talked. Nothing serious. However, again she stopped taking my calls. Just a week ago we talked. I offered lunch and she agreed. At what point must society look at the crime independently of the criminal to dispense justice? Should the punishment be exactly the same for somebody with NO record as it is for somebody with a history of criminal behavior?

Or at what point must society punish the criminal for repeated offenses, regardless of the crime committed?

Is one seen as justice for society (fitting the criminal) rather than justice for the criminal (fitting the crime)?

And if the punishment must fit both, how can this be accomplished?
