....i'd say on current form it has to be xbox 360. but for long term i'd get a ps3. nintendo wii's are for kids.

It would be a tough choice for me between Wii and xbox 360. But I would probably get xbox 360 because I love Halo!

Let me state that I am a long time Sony fan, and have owned PS1 and PS2. I have also owned every console since consoles were created. My mind was set on a PS3, but a friend had a Xbox 360, he invited me down to play it and I fell in love with it. I would say go with the Xbox 360 Elite this year, but its all a matter of preference. If I were you I would do some research on the internet and find out which console has the most games I would like to play. Good luck and enjoy whatever system you choose.
FYI...get Gears of War, Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Halo 3 for sure if you decide to go with the 360.

Xbox 360 definately. Iwas never into the whole xbox thing but got one for my birthday and I cn honestly say it is the best console ever! Not just for all the new features and showy things, but for the games, I only have five but I'm actually sad while I'm playing one because I don't get to play the rest, they are just that brilliant. And the whole 'achievements' thing for all games is a really good idea. The wii would only be good if you knew a lot of people and they came over often, its a party console and nothing more. PS3 might be alright but I don't see how it can offer anything over the xbox now that all the new games from most consoles are sold for the 360.

An idiot would spend £400 on a ps3 when they can buy a 360 £220 with a memory card and a game and have a huge selection of great games to choose from with brilliant xbox live play.

The WII and 360 are awesome. 360 is great for sports games and the WII controller is revolutionary and I love using it. I would not reccomend PS3, waaaaay overpriced.

I already own the Wii and it's frickin awesome. Saying it's for kids shows how woefully ignorant you are about it.
I also have a PS3 and it's cool, just waiting on some good games.
I will never buy an XBox 360. If I did it would be for Eternal Sonata and that's about it.

we got a xbox, but my kids are now wanting the Wii even the old one who i thought would like the ps3, but the wii looks like so much fun and every1 can join in
