I installed Open Office from Sun, now I would like to remove from my hard drive.
It is not listed in add/remove programs.
I know it's a Java program, can anyone help.
Many thanks!!

Not listed in Add/Remove? Must not have gotten fully installed. Okay, then, you've just got some stuff to find and blow off the disk, probably:

(1) Snoop around in Program Files (go into My Computer...). Find a folder labeled something like OpenOffice.org something...and select it and hold shift and click delete. Bang! Gone forever!

(2) Snoop around, using Search for Files maybe. You *may* find the big ol' installer, named OOo something ... .exe (there's underscores in the name but Yahoo! won't let me type them in my answer!) If you find it, do as above: highlight it, hold shift, and click delete. Kazooee. Gone forever.

(3) If you have shortcuts, simply right-click, and on the menu, select Delete.

All this should get as rid of it as you can.

It should be listed in add/remove programs. See if there is an uninstaller in the all programs menu. If not, it was a bad install and you may need to manually remove it and the entries from the registry.
