2,2-Dimethyl-1- bromopropane and bromoethane, both primary alkyl halides undergo SN2. Which one of them would react slower in the reaction and why?

I know that the stronger the nucleophile, the faster the rate of the SN2 reaction, but could someone please explain how to find if one is stronger than another? I know that bromoethane has a simpler structure, but that have anything to do with this question?

Thanks for any help. :-)

I was wondering if ladies enjoy phone sex as much as guys do..I recently tried it and really enjoyed it, but it seems like women aren't as interested in it as guys are. Any reasons for that? I'd love to hear honest answers!

Third in a series! :-D

Assume both include the same things; good seats, transportation, spending allowance, nice accomodations, etc.

Which do you choose?

Thanks!

If god gives us freewill and judges us by our actions... then by making certain immoral acts illegal, aren't we thwarting your god's will?

I mean, by making prostitution, or gay sex, or doing drugs illegal, aren't you taking away people's freewill? By having criminal courts and jail aren't you judging others? Shouldn't that be left to your god?

It seems to me that if christians truly believed in their god, then they wouldn't want to make anything illegal or punish anyone.

I'm a pretty good Math student A* almost always, and I was asked what i wanted to do with my future today. I was stumped. I had always thought of being a stockbroker but that sounds too boring and too much devotion of time, althought the rewards are brilliant.

A teacher suggested actuary. I Ugh-ed...

I either want my future to be applied maths or physics well applied physics is generally engineering right?

So, right to the cheese then, I was wondering what kind of jobs are there that are applied mathematics? I mean I want a job that I can get a good wage with aswell I mean i realise there is no way of getting £120k like a stockbroker, but I mean If something like £80k+ is possible after 5-7 years after working at the place I don't mind.

Please help me find some jobs that meet the specifications I suggested.

I'm only 14 at the moment and this is a brief plan for my future.

to conduct the search and did not call the police to conduct the search.

One could argue that it is the responsibilty of the principal to provide and orderly and safe envoirnment. Although students have a right to privacy this expectation can be diminished in certain cirumstances. If the teacher has reasonable beliefs that drugs may be found on a student it is not in the schools best interest to request a warrant beforehand.

On the other hand, it is argued that if the search was conducted by police it would of been unreasonable because they did not have a warrant, therefore the evidence should be excluded. The court should decided whether they search should be conducted not a teacher since they are not fully versed with the practices of law and cannot insure and objective search. Schools have a duty to foster consititutional rights, and there is no compelling evidence that schools require a lower standard.

If a person was convicted because of this should an appeal be allowed?

Childbirth is NOT a miracle. To quote a famous comedian, "it is a chemical reaction same a eating a sandwich and taking a steamy turd a few hours later." Childbirth does not make you special. Just because you decided you where too tired to give a blowJ0b is no reason you are entitled to anything.

I am 25, not married, no children, but I live on my own and nobody can claim me as a dependent. I started my job in April and I ended up claiming 3 instead of 0 which would make me exempt on my w-4 for both federal and state taxes. I also withheld an additional $20. Does this mean I am going to get a lot back at the end of the year, or did I kind of screw my self?
