To answer your question, yes I have.
My family knows me as a person who never raises my voice and never argues. My purse was snatched inside a store--I hunted down the guy -- got ahold of him and had a nose to nose show-down at the top of my lungs infront of store security officers.
This public display of mine was soooooo out of character.

So, I recognized a part of myself that I never see, and a part of me that demands justice. Swallowed hard, and owned-up to what I did. (You should have seen the look on my husband's face when our daughter told him the story!!)
Across the table I simply gave a sheepish grin.
And there he sat, thinking "the old girl had it in her after all".

You just have to move-on. Look at your 30 day calendar. Of those 30 days mark the one hour of the one day you did this thing. Now total-up all the other hours in the month when you were not being out of character. Don't let the one hour outweigh your whole month!

We ALL make mistakes or do something we just do not feel quite right about...it is called being human. Do not beat yourself up over this. Some of the best wisdom comes from mistakes. As far as the depression, I know where you are coming from! I have suffered with it for years. I have grown over the years since first being diagnosed with it and have realized that it is not my fault. You are in my thoughts.

this too shall pass
just keep thinking that I have done so many things that took over my life and seemed totally crazy that i wish i could take back and the only thing that helped me was thinking that this is just another one of those things and will be nothing but a memory soon!
