A new car! Perhaps people do not look at the catagory when they answer. Some questions are unique to seniors and we would appreciate a senior citizen to answer it.
I particularly LOVE it when people just glance at the catagory and ask us about High School Seniors questions. It is so adorable. I am sure much has changed in the 40 years since I graduated high school.

In this day and age seniors are not the little old grandma's sitting on the front porch knitting, little old grandfathers aren't puttering around in the garden or garage. Seniors now are active, out there, healthier than ever before. That's why there are questions in the senior sections that don't seem to belong. There is one other reason too, some times a person wants an answer from someone older with more experience and they'll drop it into the senior section. I think they are rather smart to to that. Don't you? To answer your question, I'd probably buy a couple new CD's to listen to, and treat myself to a trip to the salon for the "works".

I am with you Wickware. I hate it when that question is asked. When I use to ask questions in the TV or movie category, I hardly got a bite because the audience is too young to remember or know what I am talking about. I might get one answer. The seniors know what I am talking about so why go to the specific category when I can ask here? I've seen the question about 4 times so far, so that would be 20 cents in my mayo jar. Can't buy much with that these days.

I'd do just like the ole Hank Williams Jr. song If I Had a Nickel...it goes on to say I'd spend it all on candy and give it all to you, Cuz that's how much I love ya, Baby...that's how much I love ya
Course the candy would be for ALL my senior contributing friends.
What I love about this forum is you don't have to technically be senior to be here. The tried and true friends keep coming back even when under verbal attack. They've learned not to bother to frown especially over a childish thumb down.

It is amazing how many people seem to worry if a question is posted in the wrong section. I never notice. Just answer it and go on.But, for those of you that do ask that question, I am sure I could have bought a Latte at Starbucks by now. Show me the money!!

What I would like to hear is "thankyou for sharing this with us" . The seniors section is the right place for any question because we have the combined knowledge and experience to answer anything they can throw at us! PING!

Not to much since I've only asked a few ?'s. Though I did start one of my ?'s with 'Seniors' in the title, and still I got the answer 'do you mean senior citizens?'.

A bucket to drop on a Scottish head.
She knows who she is
Add an I and end with a Y
That gal has beans in her brain
If she thinks folks are going to call her queen.

I've thought it but never asked it, and I have seen many people ask that. I have better questions, why would a non senior want to be in our section, and why would they answer a question with a stupid answer like I don't know I wasn't born yet.
