President George Bush is rejecting bills from the Democratic controlled Congress that total about $956 billion in domestic spending ( he only wants to spend about $933 billion), while at the same time asking for even more money for the war in Iraq. That war as already cost $450 billion.
Bush deficits have hit record highs for any President. But yet he complains that the extra $23 billion that the Democrats want for domestic purposes would raise taxes.
Which leads to a VERY interesting question. How will the United States pay for all the spending that the Bush administration as done if we don't do it by taxes ? Apparently Bush is implying that only the Democrats actually have to pay for what they spend through taxes. But his administration can spend and NOT pay.
Does this sound like fiscal responsibility to you ?!

I have been married for 2-1/2 years and my wife has a son who is 14. Every time we go out in public he gets in the middle of my wife and I. If I am standing or walking next to my wife he just walks right between us. If we are at the store and I am trying to dscuss something with my wife he gets right in the middle. If I ask him to move he refuses and gets nasty. If I complain to my wife she never gets involved or tells me to grow up. I am very hot tempered and I don't always handle it correctly. Any suggestions on how I can handle the situation better before and after. I know this sounds like a little problem but it really hurts my feelings when he constantly gets in the middle.

They barely even mentioned this game.

I think I heard them say something about two 5-0 teams playing? Tom Brady being anointed as the Chosen One?

Was anyone else disappointed by the complete lack of coverage on this game? (imagine my tongue firmly in my cheek!)

When I hold a swig of peroxide in my mouth for a few minutes my gums start to tingle in places. The peroxide gets up between the gum and tooth and turns the gum white. Is this killing bacteria, or my gums?

Your child goes to school 8 hours a day. If that. Why is it that the other 16 hours a day can't go to your religion and that 8 hours people are free from religios persecution. Wanting "mandated" prayer is exactly that. It's making everyone who isn't Christian feel uncomfortable and alienated. Why isn't 16 hours a day and 40 on the weekends enough for prayer? Why can't "some" Christians comprimise? Or is it thier way or no way at all?

Is radioactive treatment actually safe? What are the side affects - temporary or lasting, and what are the benefits? I know people that have had thyroid surgery and have done fine afterwards. Also, since it takes a while for the thyroid gland to shut down, wouldn't surgery be better if you want to be back to normal sooner? P.S. My doctor is pushing radioactive treatment. But first he wants me to go on an anti-thyroid medication. What is the success rate of anti-thyroid medication. I don't like putting poison into my body.

I propose that every vote for President is put into a machine that records the vote electronically. There would be a paper output that the voter would then have and after the voter approves the vote would drop a paper copy into a "box".

At the end of the day the precinct workers would have the electronic talley and be able to count the paper ballots to verify.

So in a 1000 person precinct where 505 people voted for Rudy and 495 people vote for Hillary, the paper would be divided in to two piles and the Rudy pile would be verified by the precinct workers.

The electronic vote could be transmitted to a state office, and the precinct could call in the verified total for a match.

We'd know who won the Presidency by 10pm Pacific time day of election.
