If The Simpson's Springfield had to exist in a state, which one would it be? I've been wondering what people think about this. Personally, I think it's in Oregon (I'm from there) and I know that a lot of the landmarks in Springfield are based on landmarks around Springfield, Oregon.
1. Springfield, Oregon is a dump, like the Simpson's Springfield
2. The statue of Jebadiah Springfield is based on a statue at U of O in nearby Eugene, Oregon
3. The nuclear powerplant is based on the nuclear power plant up near Longview, Oregon
4. Eugene, a city near Springfield, is just like Shelbyville
5. Most of the characters in the Simpons' names are based on street names in Portland, Oregon (like Lovejoy, Flanders, Simpson, etc.)

Look it up. I believe that the Springfield in the Simpsons is based on Springfield, Oregon and the area around it. Now I'd like to see what you think

Its very complicated, but my ex broke up with acople of weeks ago for some other guy...the reason being is that she moved and i cant see her, but now she is saying she still loves me but doesnt want to get back together with me. But that really doesnt make any sense to me, so i asked her why. And she said thats she doesnt want to be dating anyone right now, then i get even more confused cuz she keeps saying she loves me and she wants to hug and kiss me but yet she doesnt want to get back together with me yet...she also said that if she did, it would be in awhile. The problem is i dont want to wait, being away from her is killing me. so im asking how do i get her back? for sure.

He'd like the camera mostly for emailing photos to family and friends who live out of town. The camera really has to be very sturdy (there's a very good chance he'll drop it several times) and at or under $100 would be a plus. Thanks for any help!

I am going to Vegas for the first time. How do I get from the Excalibur hotel to the McCarran Int'l Airport? Is it better to take a taxi or a shuttle? How much will a taxi ride to the airport cost me? Is it cheaper to take a shuttle instead? And where do I go to get a taxi or shuttle ride? Thanks.

Lets say you're in a computer lab or a waiting room or something and someone starts talking on the phone... and you hear what they're saying (cause they're right next to you or opposite you) ...and then they ask the person they're talking to a question. And the person on the other side doesn't know the answer, but you do.

Do you tell the person the answer when they get off the phone or do you not tell them cause you don't want to make it sound like you're eavesdropping on their conversation?

I'm just curious cause that happened to me and I told the person the answer, then after a while I thought, "I hope she doesn't think I'm a crazy person eavesdropping on her conversation!"

You'd think you'd grow out of these things, but there's no shortage of mindblowing women out there. What makes them so special?

And if you hang out with someone you're crazy about but you are sure she isn't in to you, is that just masochistic? Or is it some sort of higher-level healing that makes you a bigger person?

Im a bridesmaid for a wedding happening in December this year. (Its my Fiancee's sister, i have only met her twice as she lives in New Zealand and i in South Africa), she has chosen her cousin (who is roughly the same age as her & also one of my closest friends) to be maid of honour.

My problem is that the brides cousin professes that she loves the bride so much and they are soooo close and she is really happy and honoured that she is the maid of honour! But get this (I HAVE BEEN DOING ALL THE MAID OF HONOUR DUTIES) and she is just sitting back taking all the credit for it. I have told the bride and the brides mother so that they are aware of it. it took me 4hours to make the hens party invites and i handed them out on Saturday she politely turned around and said "i'm the maid of honour and she's doing all the work"!!! I really dont mind doing it as i have flexible hours but she needs to do some of it at least? Otherwise i should rightfully be MAID OF HONOUR? Please give me advice?

Ok so my Fiance of 3 years left me like a month and half ago, well it was a nasty break-up, it was long and drawn out with lots of drama, well I have tried and tried to get over it but I keep thinking; I wish I would of.... and what if I had done this differently. I can't get to sleep at night and when I finall do get to sleep I wake up at least 5 times in the night, in the first 2 weeks I was losing 2 lbs. a day, Im not losing that much now but my weight is still dropping, my appetite is not all that great either. I just don't know what to do honestly, what can I do that will help me get over this? Any help apperciated...

For the past few months my hemoglobin levels have been rather low.... normally around 10.2 but the past few weeks i have been feeling really really tired and all i want to do is sleep, i a also very lightheaded and dizzy...very dizzy especially when i stand up.... so i had my nursing teacher check my hemoglobin (just the finger stck) and it said 8.6 So just in a month it has dropped a lot!
I do not have heavy periods.....i am not pregnant nor have i notcied blood in my stool! Just feel really tired and dizzy and the past few days i have felt a little short of breath! I have an appointment for a physical in a few weeks so i was going to tell my doctor about it then but i was just wondering what you think i should do!!

What are some ways to check if it is that i have low iron!!!
People keep telling me that i may need a transfusion is this true!!

Oh by the way if this helps i am 17 and i am a female!!
