Someone in R&S is trying to prove the earth is flat. I responded, defending the fact that the earth is round. I simply stated that the earth must be round because it is hollow, with the fey folk and all the dinosaurs living inside. If the earth were flat, where would they go?
Everyone is giving me a thumbs down. I had no idea there were still so many flat-earthers.

Does "dingy harry" really hate this? Senator Reid whined on the floor of the senate, got 41 democrat signatures on the letter, and now Rush is selling it! And Rush has a big smirk on his face! How do the democrat senators feel about this? Think about it, 41 senators can't get Rush Limbaugh off the air, and he's selling the letter, and laughing at them!

Of the 6 courses offered by the music department at her college, Kay must choose exactly 4 of them. How many different combinations of 4 courses are possible for Kay if there are no restrictions on which 4 courses she can choose?

Please explain step by step. I'm just setting foot into this area of mathematics. I understand that the number of possible permutations are

6*5*4*3 = 360.

I want to know the way to find the different combinations including repeats.

Like...

A B C D = 1
A B D C = 2
.... = 3


... = blah?

What's the mathematical way to find the number of those?

If there were two choices the number of combinations would be

A B = 1
B A = 2

First off, please don't tell me there is no such thing as the one true Church or that God doesn't exist...I would like to find out for myself.

I am Roman Catholic and I've been practicing since I was very very young. It's great and I'm happy with it...but the only problem is that I don't have a lot of knowledge about it, and because I am not well educated in the subject of Christianity, I am not confident enough to say that it is the right church.

Now my question is...where the heck can I do my research for this? How do I start? I can, of course, start reading the bible but I might need a book or a website that would help me interpret them. HELP!

I have run into so many people who claim that they are "saved", "Christian", or whatever....These same people commit such evil, cruel and atrocious acts towards others on a regular basis--yet, they think that anyone who worships Satan or offers their soul to Satan is somehow horrible and terrible. The excuse I hear is that "we have all fallen short" so that's just how it is. What kind of hypocrisy is this? Is it better to call yourself "saved" or a "Christian", while you promote war, intolerance, torture and killing in the name of your religious beliefs? Would any just "God" even stand for this from "His" own followers?

So I have a friend at school and he can have anger problems, he is really annoying and he can't take stuff seriously and has this annoying things he does with his voice (very hard to explain like a mhhm ><) anyway, I was in science with him and he like yelled at me and the other girl we were working with 'cause he couldn't hear us. Hi, I know what your all thinking he must get too much crap food given to him, But he dosen't all he eats is vegimite sandwiches, Sausage, bacon and home cooked crumbed Chicken nuggets, I offer fruit and veg but he'll just sit there for over an hour, he can't talk yet to let me know what he wants, i even try to over sweets and ice cream and he pushes it away and says no!, He loves his full cream milk drinks heaps of water but nothing else? I also have a 11mth old and she'll eat anything thats offered too her but my son refuses i can't even spoon feed him as he won't let me. Please help i feel as though i'm about too lose it . Thanks
