A curve has the equation y = (x + 2) √x - 1

(i) Show that dy/dx = kx / √x - 1, where k is a constant, and state the value of k.

Ans: 3/2

Why, when we discovered fire (and started making tools and machinery) did we withhold this discovery from our closest relatives and use this info it to start farming them?

Jimmy Carter was the greatest president in history...hands down!?

Why do people bash him the way they do now? He handled the Iran hostage crisis perfectly by not invading, face it, there were less than 50 americans there. He raised taxes to feel the poor and the starving illegals. He put the pay for military and Govt employees at the bottom of his agenda to support the rest of the country like he SHOULD HAVE! He did everything a model president should have. He did everything with perfection.

There must be a way to stop a recurring charge on your credit card?

No it's not for porn. Why can't I just tell my credit card provider to no longer allow charges from a specific organization? If not, is there any credit card company that allows this?
