If so, in what way(s)?

In a balanced way, I am. If you work hard for your money, it's just normal to choose your expenditures wisely. 5% of my salary goes to my personal expenditures and to my wife. 5% - groceries, bills, etc. The bulk of it goes to our bank savings. Being a cheapskate is necessary nowadays if you don't want to end up living in the gutter. OF course, we indulge in some splurging but it is contolled. I would say that I'm a practical cheapskate. After all, money doesn't grow on trees, doesn't it?

Sometimes.....I usually just buy what I want or like though without looking at price, but there are times I shop around to find the best price.OH and I reuse those containers my lunch meat, yogurt(with lids) and things come in as Tupperware that way I don't have to pay for it, if it gets lost I don't care and if I'm feeling lazy I can just toss it rather than wash it.

YES!!! I refuse to pay big money for clothing when I can get them on sale, I look for bargains at all times, I save what money I am able to in case something comes up and we have to have it. If there are two very similar items, I will get the cheaper one. However, there are some things that I will spend the money on in order to get the good quality.
