Why do people bash him the way they do now? He handled the Iran hostage crisis perfectly by not invading, face it, there were less than 50 americans there. He raised taxes to feel the poor and the starving illegals. He put the pay for military and Govt employees at the bottom of his agenda to support the rest of the country like he SHOULD HAVE! He did everything a model president should have. He did everything with perfection.

As a self admitted troll, I know you have a job to do but most of the "facts" you have cited are false or misleading.
Carter was not a bad president, and in fact, he had many achievements.He negotiated a lasting peace between Israel and its #1 enemy at the time, Egypt. He signed the SALT I arms limitation treaties. He was handed a horrible economy by Nixon/Ford but did his best. He was very prescient on the energy crisis and our need to reduce our consumption of middle east oil. Funny thing, but he felt the Arabs would continue to hold us hostage for their oil. He proposed an intelligent plan for energy independence, but Reagan scrapped it.
