Go to a reliable guitar store, and ask someone who knows. There are too many choices. Just remember, beautiful music, is in the ear of the listener.

The top brands are Martin and Taylor. The Martin D28HD is the most imitated guitar ever made. Taylor makes several great models - the GS series and the 814-CE are extremely nice instruments. These are all over $2000. For about half that is the Takamine EAN10C - a very beautiful and sweet sounding guitar.

Its sturdy to pay attention that youre husband is returned fascinated in playing, the element with paying for acoustics, is that low-priced ones sound....nicely, low-priced!! and the call sort of the guitar could have little or no touching on youre decision to purchase, its the sound, craftsmanship, and playability that concerns. Ovation, and Ibanez make an exceptionally effective, and cheap acoustic. in case you have some money to spend, a Martin could be well worth evrey penny, yet they have a tendency to be costly.

You have so many to choose from. Do you want steel strings or nylon? Do you want added electrics? Me, I play Ovation steel strings (6 and 12strings) and a Valencia nylon strung. but I also have an old Eko Ranger 12 which sounds amazing. It depends on what you want. Assuming you play, go to your local music shop and try out as many as you can till you find the sound that is for you. If you don't, take a friend who does, or ask an assistant to play them for you. It's a totally individual thing; what sounds good to you. Hope this helps.
