8 months ago, I started going out with this girl, and it turns out that she has a lot in her past, and on top of that, is having a ton of problems concerning her dysfunctional family. When we were dating, she frequently lied to me about important issues (eg. sex, background, family) as well as other issues. I chose to stick it out, for a few reasons. #1 she was astray in her life + i really cared about her. #2 she had an abusive family and had nobody else #3 i loved her, #4 she was very fun to make out with. She lied to me, and we always had trouble communicating our feelings and pretty much anything. I ended it because it was hurting me. I dont have this problem with anyone else. Why am I having this problem with her? I recently tried calling her to get some coffee, again, it ended in an argument, because she couldn't express how she felt. What is the problem? What can I do to fix this? Why is it so much trouble? How can I show her a more effective mode of communication?

He is promoting ecumenicism. What is the great commission people? To kiss each other and say go get warm and be filled? Or is it to preach the gospel so that people can be saved? The gospel is an offense for the perishing but that is not our concern. These souls hearing the gospel and God saving them is our concern. NOT if we are getting along?!! NO COMPROMISE!!!!

This is the guy who stole a 52 cent doughnut from a store and is now going to be tried for a felony assault because a woman from the store grabbed him outside the store and he ran away. She is claiming that he pushed her.

The guy has a string on convictions with no violent acts recorded.

Looks like the only witness to the alleged attack is a woman who chased a guy down in her car for a 52 cent doughnut, which I think is excessive. She claims the guy hit her before running away.

In my experience in marital arts people generally pull away from a grab, they do not generally move into a grab unless trained and if this guy had been trained he probably would have had more violent convictions.

So what do you think, toss a guy in prison to spend 30 years for stealing 52 cents worth of bread?

My husband smokes, and I don't agree with doing it in the home when you have kids. I understand we disagree on this, and have given him a lot of leeway to let him do what he says he needs to calm his anxiety. That said, why can't he understand that this also goes against my nature? I get annoyed that pot smokers think everyone should see it their way. I don't expect everyone not to smoke. So why should he expect me to think it's okay? Mind you, I smoked when I was younger. But don't feel the need to do it any more.

ow i have to pay back money, i am appealing the temp agency. Due to lack of work, Umemployment is saying i did not actively seek work, but i turned in a job search sheet. What are my chances? Also after not having any work for 3 weeks again, the temp agency called. Why do they wait so long? Also they told me(unemployment) that i have to pay back the amount i was given! When offered a job through this temp agency they told me i would be at my job for awhile also it was temp to hire. Both did not happen. I called them a week in advance for more work. They never responded. So i filed for unemployment. Wrote out my job search sheet, and called them 1 time a week. The lady at unemployment said did they have you sign any sheets for when you need to call them? I said no. I waited a week and then received a letter saying i was denied my claims. Are temp agencies this hard to claim against when they dont give you work and also lie about temp to hire?

As you know JB Weld is a putty substance that gets rock har and you can drill it well, I recently had a minor leak on my transmission and now i have just made it worse i was told that there is some type of chemical that will melt the weld away. Is this true or am i bound to cave man tactics and chisel it off???

With a hugre universe theres possiblities of anything....Not even Einsteins mind can compare to the unknown parts of the universe. I mean there could be another life of different properties. There could be magic people who can mgically create sopmthing out of air. All we can figure out is what we see not what we know. Huge universe the large universe cant compare to what we just see. Heck...we dont even know if the universe ends. If it does...then whats beyond that? If it doesnt end then why not have possiblities beyond what we know? Explain your theories to say. It is true then we dont know its so large maybe we will never find the end or the end is so far the universe will cease before its discovered.

Two mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a plate of tabouli and a pint of goat's milk. The older of the mothers pulls a bag out of her purse and starts flipping through photos. They start reminiscing.
"This is my oldest son, Mohammed. He would be 24 years old now."
"Yes, I remember him as a baby," says the other mother cheerfully.
"He's a martyr now, though," mum confides.
"Oh, so sad, dear," says the other.
And this is my second son, Kalid. He would be 21."
"Oh, I remember him," says the other happily. "He had such curly hair when he was born."
"He's a martyr too," says mum quietly.
"Oh, gracious me," says the other.
"And this is my third son, my baby, my beautiful Ahmed. He would be 18," she whispers.
