For church, we display worship song lyrics with an lcd projector. The words are superimposed over a photo, usually a nice serene nature scene.

What would be the copyright laws involved in using photographs found on the web for this purpose? Do I need the expressed written consent of each photographer? (and on the web the photographer might not even be listed) Does copyright law even come into affect since the display of these images provides no profit?

Thanks.

note: I'm also an avid amateur photographer myself, so I definitely feel for the rights of photographers

Hey, a friend of mine would like to know what martial arts were used in the Matrix films. Any details you could spare would be appreciated.

A cart slides down an inclined 1.44m long inclined ramp. The height of the ramp is .10m. The angle of the ramp is not given.

The work done by the friction is -.06. I need to figure out the value of the friction force acting on the cart. The formula I'm using is Work done by the friction = Friction force * d cos theta.

My problem is that since the problem doesn't provide the angle, I'm not sure what to use for theta - should I use 180 degrees because the friction force is acting in the opposite direction? Or should I use 4 degrees (by deriving the unknown angle by using sin theta = height/length of ramp).
Thank you for your help.

Me and my girlfriend(one month) went to a highschool dance last saturday, but the music sucked so bad, so we didnt get a chance to dance. So I'm going to go on a date with her this saturday then go to the park. I first want to just hold hands and walk, then say that we didn't get a chance to dance last week, and ask if she wants to slow dance. So, there isn't any music, but us just slowing dancing. Is this romantic? Do you think she'll like it?

I know I don't need my lips any bigger they are already Huge but in the middle of my top lip it seems like there is a lump. Some people say its not noticeable and my husband thinks its natural and cute but I don't like it. Think I could use surgery? I could afford it at the end of the year.

It will be reminiscent of last years beat down. Big 10 tradition cannot hang with SEC speed. One day the Big 10 bias will be no more and a playoff will happen and the Big 10 will not participate in any BCS bowls.

There is this girl in my school that I like and we are pretty good friends, and occasionally, if I am in a class and she sees me through the open classroom door, she usually waves and blows a kiss at me.
I want to blow a kiss back at her too, but that wouldn't make me seem to manly, would it? So I usually end up smiling awkwardly back at her, but I want to do something more, you know? But it shouldn't make me look awkward to the people around me. Don't worry about the teacher, it is a study hall, so they don't really care.
Also, is this a hint that she is interested in me? What should I think of this; do friends usually do this to each other? If it actually is flirting, what can I do to flirt back instead of just smiling or waving back?

Thanks in advance
