There is this girl in my school that I like and we are pretty good friends, and occasionally, if I am in a class and she sees me through the open classroom door, she usually waves and blows a kiss at me.
I want to blow a kiss back at her too, but that wouldn't make me seem to manly, would it? So I usually end up smiling awkwardly back at her, but I want to do something more, you know? But it shouldn't make me look awkward to the people around me. Don't worry about the teacher, it is a study hall, so they don't really care.
Also, is this a hint that she is interested in me? What should I think of this; do friends usually do this to each other? If it actually is flirting, what can I do to flirt back instead of just smiling or waving back?

Watch her to check if she blows kisses to other people. It could just be a thing she does. Personally I think she is hitting on you because that is flirting lol.
Blowing kisses back doesn't make you unmanly. Atleast people might think you got game or something :D Blow a kiss back she might like it hehe.

If you want to return her "kiss blowing" without seeming too obvious or unmanly, how about a wink? Not that cheesy kind of used car salesman wink, but just a sincere wink with a little smile.
Also, don't second guess her show of affection. If you want to know if she likes you for more than a friend, ask her. That's the only way you'll know for certain. My daughter and her close male and female friends hug, blow kisses, wink, and link arms, but none of them are dating.......yet. ;>) Good luck, hope this helps!

yeah she likes you. i wouldnt blow a kiss to a friend unless i was interested in him. i think that you should blow her a kiss back i dont think that it makes you less manly. if you are embarrassed then invite her out for coffee and casually tell her that you like her. she might be waiting for you to make a move but hasnt because she doesnt know if you like her also. she is sending you hints. good luck

Well, is she blowing kisses at other people too? Could be her "Paris Hilton" signature move. No, do not blow kisses back (unless you are in a real relationship). If you are not sure if she is interested in you, just suck up the courage and when you can strategically find a moment, ask her out.
Because I blow kisses to my kids, my mom, my dad, my husband, and to friends too when we feel young and cute. (Which is hard to do at my age).

Talk to her later... yeah, I was trying to picture a guy blowing a kiss back... made me chuckle a little... if you want to though and feel confident enough to blow a kiss back then go for it... if not, be silly and flirty with her outside of class.

I would say it's flirting. I wouldn't blow a kiss to a guy who I didnt like. You are right, if you blow a kiss back you would look ridiculous. I would say pucker your lips like you are gonna kiss and then wink... lol sounds silly but trust me doo it!

give her a come-hither look, blow her a sarcastic kiss, and wink.
That way if your friends see it, or she is just being silly with you..... It will look kinda like you are just fooling around.
But if she is seriously flirting.. It will serve a vital purpose in taking the next step.

don't blow a kiss, just like, smile. Oh yeah, it's flirting. Just ask her to meet with you after class, ask her how she's doing, then ask her out.

That is really flirty. She may like you back but I don't know.... I don't do that to a guy unless I like him. I wouldn't blow one back but I would like kiss it and put it on your lips. :)
