Why does Yahoo! Answers fly the American Flag "Old Glory" for a foreign country called the United States? By Law they can go to jail for calling it the United States flag. Why don't they fly the US flag for the United States?

What the heck are you talking about? Yahoo is a northern California based company. Of course the U. S. Flag should be flown, and 'Old Glory' is part of the United States history. If you don't like it, go back to where you come from.

United States of America is correct. 'America,' 'United States,' 'USA' and 'US' are all commonly-used and acceptable abreviations.

Though it is interesting that the American Flag is displayed /twice/ once next to 'United States' and once next to 'en Espanol' (in Spanish). Odd, since Canada only has it's flag displayed once, even though it's officially bi-lingual.
