...in the U.S. This is addressed mostly to my fellow conservatives.

Typicaly "liberal" cities are known by names such as Seattle, Portland (OR), Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Berkeley, Chicago, Madison, Austin, Detroit, Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Cambridge...I think you get the idea.

The only ones of the listed cities I'd choose are:
A. New York: the thriving heart of the western world. Any cultural offering in the way of arts, cuisine, and festivities you can find in NYC. It also has a (mostly) efficient and expansive subway system.
B. Austin: "Keep Austin Weird!" It's a very original city with beautiful parkland, even prettier women, a proud population, and it's very clean.
C. Seattle: it has its own architecture, vibe, and the beauty of Mount Rainier both offsets and complements the beauty of the manmade skyline. It's like LA, except it's more drizzly, less crime-ridden and dumpy, and has more natural beauty.

I heard that Pope Benedict XVI said something like this, but I do not know for sure. Has any Pope in recent times said this? I think it would be a rather contravserial statement as most theologians would would probably argue that salvation could be found through any mainline denomination - or even none at all! Believing and following Christ's teachings found in the Holy Bible would be enough for this. Or would they...?

I was wondering, why the government doesnt just make it that Reservists who have to take huge pay cuts, when they come to active duties just make it that they will be paid no less then what they made in civilian duty. It would be fair, and you would get alot less hardship. I think the military can afford it, you have a quarter trillion dollar budget.

It is in fact a little bit creamy/buttery white. Do I paint my closet doors that colour too? Or should I paint my closet the same colour as my walls? The wall colour is yet to be determined neither is my new bedding (getting a whole new bed) but I love the combo of pink & brown (strawberries & chocolate). My furniture is med brown stained maple and the room gets very little light as it is a converted garage -- long & narrow with 2 small garage style windows. Any help would be much appreciated - I'm very indecisive.

I have been doing really well with my new vegetarian diet aside from some unexpected set backs like hidden animal products in ketchup! but my big problem is snacking at night! i don't know why i do it...i try so hard not too but i end up doing it and most of the time is because the munchies. i know alot of people just say stop but i need some other tips. maybe am i not eating enough fiber or protien too keep me filled up? i try to stop myself and i'm doing ok, i'm losing two pounds every week.
