I have a history of making friends with moochers who use me to their advantage. But this is the most recent one, she always beats around the corner about what she wants instead of asking me directly for something. The bad thing is she's older than me. She doesn't have a job, flunks her college classes every semester,even this one. She makes excuses so she won't be independent ALL the time to the point where I get tired of talking to her. Every day she complains of something that could be fixed. Like her parents getting on her nerves and how she wants to venture out and be famous....you're 21...move out!! I'm constantly transporting her around with gas tank almost on E, helping her find a job even though she's being picky about where to apply, and only wants to come to my house to use my computer. Every day she wants me to skip my classes so that I'll pick her up so she won't be in the house all day. Like hello I have my own agenda too!! I don't know what to do anymore...Please help

My ex & I have been broken up for 3 months & 1 month after we broke up we found out that she is pregnant. I told her that I would do everything I can to help my ex & support our baby. For a while I have been giving her some money for support & that I have been giving her more money because I still have feelings for her & there would have been hope for us to get back together. But there have been times when we have argued over things like putting her ex's ideas name for my baby, why she won't give us a second chance, refusin help to provide insurance for her and the baby, to why she doesn't love me & why she would rather go back to her ex who has been cheating on while they were together. The final argument didn't involve me & her but with my sister who tried to sum up & ask why are you not giving my bro a chance as he's trying so hard yet is not getting the chance to be involved with the baby. The argument went that far, she blocked me off from myspace & she doesn't answer my calls.

A Confederate $100 bill was recently discovered amongst old family papers and I am interested in it's potential value. It is signed and dated August 20, 1862, with no stamps on the back and a depiction of slaves hoeing cotton at the top of the front. There are slight creases on the corners, specifically the top left, but otherwise in pristine condition.

my dad is a good father and i really love him, however he has made some serious mistakes in his life.

he is always telling me how important it is to remain "pure" until marriage (we are of differant denominations, but both of us are christians) he was living with my stepmom for two years before he finally married her. it kinda makes me mad that he feels that the rules only apply to the young and not the old. I just feel like, why should i abstain from sex if he gets to whatever he wants. what do you people think?

My husband and I have come to a final decision on our babies name (im 27 weeks with a boy). These are the three names.. all the same first name because I love the name. Three different middle names tell me which one you like best. Or if you dont like any of them. (not listing last name)

I took pictures last night of the Mansfield Reformatory in Ohio for the haunted house.

It's supposed to be haunted so I took pics to see what I could find, and in every picture there is something weird: Gray clouds, multiple orbs, etc.

Now I'm confused because in every picture there are lines, resembling power lines but there were NO power lines or anything like that around. What do they mean in terms of Ghosts or spirits and the like?

I know if I had the choice I would have chosen to do guard duty over patrols. I know this was not their only duties but you get my point.

I'm looking for very modern furniture, but most furniture stores offer the same old fashioned look. I know there are a few stores which offer a modern & contemporary look, but overall I think Americans prefer a different look than Europeans for example. The furniture stores in Europe are all so beautiful and you go wild, but here it's almost painful to select furniture.
I usually buy then over the internet, but it costs me a lot of money.
Why is it that even young Americans prefer to buy that old fashioned "oak-style" look??? Anybody from the furniture industry here on YA who wants to explain why stuff looks always so old-fashioned?

I was with some friends last night and my ex called. We are still friendly and there is a chance we will get back together (I hope).

He called last night when I was at a friend's house. I answered and said, "I'm eating dinner, can I call you back?" and he said, "Where are you at?" and I said, "I'm at so-n-so's house," and he said, "Oh, I'll just talk to you later then."

I took that to mean he knew I was busy, and to call him back when I was free. I called him 2 hours later, when I left my friend's house, and he said, "Oh, so I guess you only call when it's convenient for you, is that it?" and then he was very distant and quiet the whole time I talked with him, and he finally said he was going to go to bed.

Was I being rude? Was it ok to wait? I haven't seen this friend in a while and my ex knows that.

I was hired to work for a company and I have been receiving checks from him without taxes being taken out. Here are a couple things...

1) I am just myself, no wife and kids... doing a 1099 though I have not filled anything out yet...(make sense?)
2) I was called to get general liability insurance so when his company is audited, I have proof. He gave me another option of going under his but ... I would still pay?? I figure that should be his doing
3) The company I work represent is his side company but I receive checks from a ceiling company he owns, again this is a tax free check.

Question part B
I don't think I am being screwed but my guess is he's saving his *** from the audit, correct? Well how is it that I need GL insurance when I don't have a company or anything of that sort?
