In March 2005 the Coalition of Immokalee Workers pressured Yum!, a company selling agricultural goods to businesses such as Taco Bell to increase worker’ wages. Workers were given 40 cents per 32 pound bucket of tomatoes. These wages are the same as they were 30 years ago. Many workers were incarcerated, and beaten. The CIW was able to free 1,000 workers by forcing an increase in wages and rewriting the terms of slavery in Yum!’s supplier code of conduct.

I was in my linguistic anthropology class and we were discussing the discriptive properties of languages (english was what we had positive knowledge about and during that this question had popped up) anyway, my professer would like to know if there is any language, currently known by the way, that doesn't have prepositional phrases (I myself would primarily like to know about japanese though). Any help on the "topic" of this question (mainly about japanese, but the other question in the "details" here would also be appreciated) would be nice.

i do see the potential of earnings if the company gets back on track.however if it went bust or if it was sold to another company they may make or lose money which is a gamble. can somebody explain? the only reason i can see is that this banks continue to see a potential in northern rock that others dont.

I'm preparing to buy a house next year and doing everything in my power to increase my credit score when the mortgage process starts. I have an auto loan @ 6.24% interest rate, and my truck will be paid off in 3 years. I've pretty good credit right now. However, if I decide to refinance my auto loan for a lower interest rate and monthly payments, will that hurt my credit score?
