my puppy has the runs. He has been drinking water and not much food. He just wants to sleep all the time. He is not playful anymore. I gave him some tuna but he doesn't want that either! help!!!!

puppies can go down hill fast so get him to teh vets as soon as possible even if you have to pay for an emergency

Tuna? What was that supposed to do?
Take the puppy to a vet - they're those people that are trained and qualified to help sick animals. It's what they're there for.

Is your puppy up to date on all shots? If not, get to the vet, could be parvo.
Assuming he's up to date on all shots then his stomach might just be upset.
Upset stomach = chicken and rice - plain boiled, nothing fancy, no salt, no pepper.
If your dog's poop doesn't improve in the next 6 hours and is lethargic, take him to the vet. Sometimes they just need a round of anti-inflammatory drugs to calm their digestive tract, or it could be sthg more serious like parvo.

I would take him to the vet right away. It's good he's drinking as pups can dehydrate very quickly, but should he have something like Parvo it can be deadly especially when not treated right away.
No point in taking a chance. Good luck to you and your pup.

To the vet! It is his RIGHT BY LAW to receive proper care. And don't wait - puppies do not have large reserves and you could kill him by waiting too long. Get him to the vet.
