we bought our house a year ago with carpet in it...but we seen underneath there is a pretty wood floor..i wanted to know if there is stains on it are there any ways to get it off...or anything we could try?...i love wood floors and hate carpet...is there a polish or anything that we could use to darken the color?..its an oak color now..and whats best to clean them? thank you for all answers...

If we the people of the Earth are the called the "Human Race" they why must our Governments continue to teach our children separation Race? They even go as far as to request you tell them what "Race" you are, on questionaires, applications and such. Even religious groups & or many religious individuals who claim to believe or claim to follow thier beliefs will interact just as our society has taught us for years to identify people by thier ethnic orientation.

at me and i dont chat much but, say one liners to her, what could i do to ask her out as there is traffic behind me, sounds corny, but she is nice looking and im not sure if she is being friendly or attracted to me,

Today is a Jewish holiday and i am supposed to go to temple (i am 15) and i have always hated going on holidays i have never even really liked being Jewish. i got in a huge fight with my parents this morning because i didn't want to go. (i was saying i would go just so they wouldn't be disappointed with me and they were saying they would rather me stay home if i was going to be in a pissy mood.) so i stayed home. am i a bad person?

I thought someone was calling me a hooker, but the term was 'hookah.' Since when did hookah become the next Mary Jane, and what exactly IS it? A friend recently lost a sister and he and his extended family members have been inundated with home cooked meals and baked goods from many people. So much food, that they had to give much of it away. Was there a tradition somewhere that started the idea of bringing food to people in mourning? And is it intended to simply provide for them so they don't have to cook for themselves?
