A question about Adam and Eve.......?

I have attended several Bible classes and we have studied the part in Genesis where Eve is tempted by the serpent and ended up disobeying God. We were told that Adam was actually to blame for this, as he did not step up and stop her from doing this, as surely he must have been there or at least nearby. I also heard this mentioned the other day on a women's panel discussion on TV. But I also heard a priest mention that Adam wasn't there at the time. My question is: How much of all of this is possibly reading "meanings" into Scripture that aren't necessarily there? Does it actually say somewhere somehow that Adam just stood by and watched, and did nothing, and I'm just missing it? I'd like to have some Bible-believing Christians' takes on this, and some really thoughtful and serious answers. I'd prefer that atheists and non-believers not reply - I already know that you consider this stuff to be a lot of hoo-hah - If I have a bona fide question on atheism, I'll ask. Thanks everyone!

Where did the "we use 10% of our brain" came from?

I know that its illogical because every part of our brain is required to live but Is it true? Does it mean we use only 10% for thinking? Can we unlock 90% for super human abilities?

I'm a male: how long till I have six-pack?

well, maybe not exactly a six-pack. I was overweight, I lost 40kg and now I wanna shape a six-pack. I started a year ago. I dropped all the pounds in June and since June I try to get in shape. I go to the gym every day, doing 60 crunches in a machine.

What should I do to get in shape? (six-pack, chest etc)

blow air on insence.. i dont know what its called.?

in wooden insense (or oud) u get this thing that blows air ..
u can use it for giving air to a fire too..
it has like.. a accordian type ending and u push it and a spout on the other end where the air comes out of.. what is it called?

My mom is 84 and has trouble paying her supplemental insurance at 225 per month. What can she do?

Where can she find affordable medicare supplemental insurance. She now has Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois and she no longer can afford it. Thanks for your help.

coz I live in Macau, and will go to SG this coming Dec, I want to take this test in SG, does anyone know where can I register this test? and when will be held? thank you!

What has put a smile on your face today?

Some super joahovous witness people came knocking talking about wickedness in the world....... they ask what i thought about it... I replied with enthusiasm 'Oh I believe in goodness!' they looked one part stunned one part highly amused. Then they departed really quickly!

what race is french?

and dont say caucasian because caucasian isnt a race it means white what RACE is the french they are on the border of spain so are they a mix of spanish?

I know a guy he says he is french i said french isnt a race, he said were white but i disagree ive seen black french people, maybe from slavery or maybe from the border of spain and he doesnt really look white he has a spanish look to him but white skin, so i need to know what race could the french be he is very ignorant, and only says that he is white.
