Some super joahovous witness people came knocking talking about wickedness in the world....... they ask what i thought about it... I replied with enthusiasm 'Oh I believe in goodness!' they looked one part stunned one part highly amused. Then they departed really quickly!
That made me smile!

Your question AND your experience made me smile! It's been a while since anyone from the religious community has come 'a-knocking on my door. I welcome the challenge of sharing LOVE. I don't believe in opposition, or debating my belief with anyone else's...all I know is that I have been taught to LOVE EVERYONE AND TO FORGIVE EVERYONE....INCLUDING MYSELF. I live by that love law...I believe that if I keep myself in a love mode, I will reap love. I believe in the law of sowing and reaping...It is not only spiritual, but natural. Whatever you plant (sow) is going to come up (reap). If you plant hatred and sorrow and depression, sadness - vile and ugly words - those things are obgligated to come back to you and your life is going to be miserable. However, when you plant kindness, generosity, peace, joy and hope to others, those things will have to come back to you - and your life cannot help but be fulfilling and satisfying.
I thank you for the question....it was good and your answer to those folks was even better...Believe in goodness my friend - and goodness will continue to come back to you and you continue to share that story with others because others need to hear about goodness and love. The world is so full of bad news and evil reports - those of us who understand and know that there is another force on the earth will have to be the strong towers to share that..

I had some Jehovah's Witnesses at my door the other day. They saw my children run thru the living room, and then asked me if I was aware of all the evil and pornography on the internet today. I told them I was certainly aware of it. I told them that "we found the internet to be an excellent educational tool. But if you guys want to use it to surf porn, that's your right." They walked away, after they picked their jaws up off my bottom step.

Laughing at a member of the local clergy who was wearing a DISGUSTING shirt at a local event. She looked AWFULL but thought she looked really "bright and fun".

I was with my three nephews and one niece and that has made me smile. One of my nephews and my only niece is from Guatemala. Adopted from Guatemala.
