what race is french?

and dont say caucasian because caucasian isnt a race it means white what RACE is the french they are on the border of spain so are they a mix of spanish?

I know a guy he says he is french i said french isnt a race, he said were white but i disagree ive seen black french people, maybe from slavery or maybe from the border of spain and he doesnt really look white he has a spanish look to him but white skin, so i need to know what race could the french be he is very ignorant, and only says that he is white.

but you would have to agree french being so close to spain and germany and italy that its most likely a mixed country, before the mix of other countrys. So most liekly he is a mix of italy german and spainish and that would be the race of france german/italian AND spain.

The French are originally from the Celtic people of Europe. The blacks, Arabs and others like Metis Indians became francophones due to colonization.

Just like everywhere in many countries there is no specific race but a majority of it is white, then there is some black, Asian and so on so forth, everyone looks different and though he may be french mixed with Spanish it is all just nationalities.

France is a country like the US or the UK is a country and in that country they have a mixture of all races. It started out as the Japath branch or Arian or white race. Then they mixed with Asian which is also spaniards or mexicans or American Indian or Shem race. And off shot of the Chinese race.
I feel certain that others moved into that area from around the world.
It is funny they divided people into 3 races and today use the NOah story of three sons to describe these races.
Ham is the black race
Shem is the Asian Race
Japath is the white race.
Most people are a conbination of all three races.

It all goes back to the 3 major races..Black, White, and Asian. Others are mixed/subcategories (i.e hispanics).This isnt my opinion but are the official ethnic groups the U.S. distribues to other nations. Google CIA Factbook if you dont believe me. The French would fall under the white category in the U.S. But almost no one in the U.S. is 100% one race..

french isnt a race!- there are white (european) french, black people who are born in france , that are frennch and etc. french people dont all look the same too. caucasian is a race because these people are from europe and are classified as white. spanish is not a race, they are an ethnicity- so spanish people could be black, asian whatever. hope this helps

what are you talking about???-_-; spanish from spain are all white and some french people are white or black. Latin white and german white looks different but they are both white. white Americans are not white. Americans whites are mixed and have just light skin.
