I'm glad this didn't happen in our COuntry cause the Goverment would have covered it up and we would never have found out about it ,,,Now Peru will investigate it and tell the World what they've found ...........How do you feel about our government Cover ups and what do you think is the BIGGEST one????

I have had the fresh water tank for approximately 1.5 years now. Just a few weeks ago I noticed a white/clear algae that began growing on the rocks and plants. I vacumed the tank and removed most of it. Now its back even worse. What is it? Can it kill my fish? Is there any treatment for it? Any help is apprishiated. Thanks!

I really need a job and all the companys that hire around here say send resume thriugh e-mais (No Faxing)(so they dont have a load of papers). I have to send my resume by E-mail Please Can someone HELP step by step. I have it writin out on my computer and ever time I send it they write back saying the progam I usein doesnt allow it to open to view.

I've heard that crime in general is pretty low in Iceland (I might be going to Reykjavik in January), but are the more touristy/populated parts prone to any pickpocketing, drunken behaviour etc? Being from Glasgow, nothing of that nature would particularly bother me but I'm just wondering what to expect? :)

He's not someone that I have spoken to in a while. We were very good friends in high school and college. We are both 30 now. He has since moved across the country. I found out through a mutual friend that he has come out of the closet. Evidently, he had a really tough time with this, even contemplating suicide. I would like to make contact with him and tell him everything is cool. I'm glad that he has found himself and wish him the best. The thing is, during our friendship, we were very much alpha males and I had no idea that he was gay. I think he would feel very awkward around me and maybe think I would not like him now knowing that he is gay. Anyone had a similar experience. Where do I go from here?

I am scared...and I mean really honestly scared of automatic (self flush) toilets. I have no logical reason to be, I just am. When I was younger I wouldn't use any toilets, other than the ones in my house. We'd have to stop and let me go on the side of the street if we were traveling, or else bring along a bucket. As I've gotten older, I've gotten better about them, and will now use manual flush toilets. I just hate the ones that jerk the handle down and/or flush loudly when you press it, so I always use my foot and jump/scream if I come across one of these. Auto toilets still drive me bonkers. I get very nervous when I know I'll have to use one, and my heart speeds up. I sometimes make my mom stand in the stall and flush the toilet over and over again so I can see how sensitive it is, if it's likely to flush while I'm on it, and how long it takes it to flush once I move (the delay between when you get off it and when it flushes). Sometimes I can force myself to use ones I "know well"

When I was young I had a liberating lucid dream where I was finally able to defeat a monster that would bug me every night. The dream was a positive thing. Finally after 13 years I had another lucid dream but it was not so positive, in fact it was scary:

For instance, although being completely conscious of dreaming I had to yell commands to make things happen. But eventually they would, so I continued on. Ok here is where the worrisome stuff happens:

I am surrounded by religious friends whom I've known since I was a child. One of them was an extremely attractive girl (sort of the bombshell of a boys childhood). Anyway I make the sexual encounter happen, and after it is over I look again at her face. It's female, but gruesome and unattractive. I try and try but I can't make the face change to hers. The thought consciously goes through my head that I may not actually have as much control over what is happening here as I thought, I freak out and start praying to end the dream.

Primarily the prevalence of children born out of wedlock, the glorification of negative rap music, the number of women who are left to raise their children without support from their father, and an adoration for the thug mentality.

Would a man be considered a traitor to his gender if he said that 60% of men cheat on their wives? Would he get called names? Would a Mexican be called a race-traitor if he spoke on the large number of Mexicans who are here illegally?

Just wondering why people are so defensive? If you could respond without using expletives and/or rudeness, it would be nice. Thanks.

I have been married 25 years. I love my husband very much. In the beginning he was physically abusive. I left for a little bit, we worked it out, and the physical abuse stopped. But was replaced by emotional abuse, not name calling, but he knew how to manipulate and control me. As I got older I realized I didn't want to go on like this. I sought professional help, he wouldn't, but i started to feel empowered. Started being my own person. Didn't go over very well, he resorted to saying some not so nice things to gain control over me. When I wouldn't allow him to control me he realized he needed to change. And he really has made changes to the point that he is almost a new man. Things seem to be going very well, but I can't help think in the back of my mind that the old man will come back. It is a real fear of mind, never sure what is going to cause him to go. I am fully prepared to leave if it becomes an issue again. But not sure if I should cut my losses now, or keep tryin
