It says: A flywheel with a 15-cm diameter is rotating at a rate of 7 radians/sec. What is the linear speed of a point on its rim, in centimeters per minute.

First off, the answer is 3150 cm/minute (according to the book). Now what I did was take the angular speed (which is the 7 radians/sec part, right???), and multiply it by the radius, which is 7.5, and then multiply it be 60 to get it from seconds to minutes. Is that the correct way to find the answer?

The second question is: A wheel with a 30-cm radius is rotating at a rate of 3 radians/sec. (Again, is the 3 radians/sec part called the angular speed?) What is the linear speed of a point on its rim, in meters per minute?

I got 54m/minute by taking the 3, multiplying it be 30, multiplying it by 60, and dividing by 100 (to get from cm to m). Is that all right? Thanks so much! I'll pick a best answer TODAY!!!!

Can someone please tell me if there are similarities between synagogues and mosques? I know that in both, men and women pray separately.

What is the atmosphere in a mosque like - for instance do services ever have a humorous slant? Sometimes in synagogue they can do.

Is any part of the mosque service in English?

Are there different types of mosque, the way we have various sorts of synagogue (Reform, Progressive, Conservative etc)?

my teeth feel clean after using my toothbrush i'm not unhappy, just wonder if the more expensive one actually do a better job as they move a million different ways and vibrate faster etc etc. will my teeth be cleaner or whiter? more money better brush or more money just means more moeny spent on marketing?

Not to say that you can't exist without them but your life is so much better with them in it. You can't imagine what your life would be like without them. I HAVE BEEN COUGHING UP ALOT OF GREEN, YELLOW, AND BROWN SPUTUM LATELY. I HAVE ALSO HAD A DULL, ACHY PAIN IN THE LEFT UPPER PORTION OF MY CHEST. IT ONLY HURTS WHEN I PUSH ON IT THOUGH. I AM FRIGHTENED TO THINK I MIGHT HAVE SOME TYPE OF CANCER. WHETHER IT BE LUNG CANCER OR ANYTHING ELSE. FOR EXAMPLE COPD OR SOMETHING. IM AT A LOSS I DONT HAVE INSURANCE TO GO SEE A DOCTOR TO GET THESE PROBLEMS CHECKED OUT. I AM HOPING SOMEONE ON HERE CAN IDENTIFY THESE SYMPTOMS AND HELP ME UNDERSTAND AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHATEVER MIGHT BE WRONG WITH ME. I'm not sure I have a real strong opinion either way, but what do you think?? Why do YOU choose to adopt or buy from a breeder? I have both - I have one purebred dog (chihuahua) from a reputable breeder and one shelter dog (lab/shepherd mix).

My friends asked me why I decided to search for a chihuahua breeder instead of going to the humane society again and I had to admit that I wanted to know my dogs lineage/health history. I have no intentions to breed her though, so she will be spayed in a month.

Although I love my shelter dog, she was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy and will likely need to be medicated the rest of her life (she's almost 2) and continue to have annual blood work done to test her levels. I hardly believe that if I would have gotten her from a reputable breeder (not that they breed mixes, but you know what I'm saying), she would have epilepsy. I know purebred doesn't necessarily guarantee against illness, but you know what they're predisposed to.

the had to dilate me last week to 2cm but yesterday they had to redo it because the baby moved back up and i closed. i passed my due date it was on the 16th and now they want to induce me on friday because the baby is getting too big for my body. i'm REALLY REALLY scared about being induced, i heard it hurts alot worse and that most of the time they end up doing c sections. help i need to know what i can do to get her out before friday. i've tried walking, sex, spicy foods, and i can't find raspberry leaf tea.

Back in 2000 or 2001 I got a student credit account and due to financial hardship the account went to collection in 2003. From my understanding, this account is to be removed from my credit report after 7 years of it's first deliquent date not the date it was sent to collection. Now, in 2007 the collection company is contacting me and it is pass the California's Statue of Limitation and the 7 years mark. What should I do? What can the collection company do to me? Can this go back on my credit report even though it has been removed? Can someone please help I am confused about this whole credit report/credit collection/statue of limitation thing? Thanks. Your help and advise is greatly appreciated.
