Yes, it has to be taxes. We're all taxed up the wazoo!

I watch things very closely and my mortgage is by far my highest payment every month. That is followed by health insurance. Third would be utilities collectively (electicity, gas, water, garbage, TV, telephone, Internet service, cell phone). Next would be taxes and other forms of insurance. My cars are paid for or they would be just a head of taxes and behind utilities.

First biggest is college expense, then medical expense ( including insurance) . Then total groceries and right behind that are property taxes. Those 4 items account for about 36 thousand of my income annually. I have no other debts but just other monthly bills.

I am plenty happy to be alive and loving life.

It's a toss up between taxes and health care.

I have med benefits taken out of my pay check and taxes too.

Every time I make a purchase of anything, from food to clothing to automobiles to vacations, some portion of that transaction goes to someone's health care
You never stop paying for it, even when your house is paid off and or you get a tax refund.

If your biggest payment is taxes then consider yourself lucky. You have everything paid for or you are rich. Mine is the house payment.
