1) Christians assert that Jesus claimed to be God when they quote him in John 14:9: "He that has seen me has seen the Father". Didn't Jesus clearly say that people have never seen God, as it says in John 5:37: "And the father himself which has sent me, has borne witness of me. You have NEITHER HEARD HIS VOICE AT ANY TIME NOR SEEN HIS SHAPE"?

2) If Moses wrote the first books of the Old Testament, how could Moses write his own obituary? Moses died in the fifth book at age 120 as mentioned in Deut. 34:5-10.

3) Why do the Christians say that Jesus came with a universal mission when he said that he was sent to the Jews only? He said to the Canaanite woman who asked him to heal her daughter from demon-possession: "I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of Israel" and also said: "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs", Matthew 15:21-28.

I have more but please answer these first. thanks.

William Shakespeare - Sonnet 18

So long lives this and this gives life to thee. g

Oscar Wilde's novel the Picture of Dorian Gray, Chapter 1 – ‘the studio was filled with the rich odour of roses’.

The studio was filled with the rich odour of roses, and when the light summer wind stirred amidst the trees of the garden, there came through the open door the heavy scent of the lilac, or the more delicate perfume of the pink-flowering thorn.

From the corner of the divan of Persian saddle-bags on which he was lying, smoking, as was his custom, innumerable cigarettes, Lord Henry Wotton could just catch the gleam of the honey-sweet and honey-coloured blossoms of a laburnum, whose tremulous branches seemed hardly able to bear the burden of a beauty so flame like as theirs; and now and then the fantastic shadows of birds in flight flitted across the long tussore-silk curtains that were stretched in front of the huge window, producing a kind of momentary Japanese effect, and making him think of those pallid, jade-faced painters of Tokyo who, through the medium of an art that is necessarily immobile, seek to convey the sense of swiftness and motion. The sullen murmur of the bees shouldering their way through the long unmown grass, or circling with monotonous insistence round the dusty gilt horns of the straggling woodbine, seemed to make the stillness more oppressive. The dim roar of London was like the bourdon note of a distant organ.

In the centre of the room, clamped to an upright easel, stood the full-length portrait of a young man of extraordinary personal beauty, and in front of it, some little distance away, was sitting the artist himself, Basil Hallward, whose sudden disappearance some years ago caused, at the time, such public excitement and gave rise to so many strange conjectures.

My ex-wife, who is very irresponsible, wants me to give permission and sign a passport to take my 10 year old to Mexico. I don't want her to because to be very honest, she is very irresponsible. There have been more than few occasions where her irresponsibilty has put my son in harms way. I do not HAVE to sign his passort and give permission do I ? What happens if I do not?

My 1st ammendment rights are being stepped on. I can't get get a straight answer from you people or any answer at all. Why do you let obviously goofy questions get posted but goofy answers arn't allowed? I get notices of violations when I answer a question that is obviously a joke or an attempt to provoke a negative reponse. When I see a question that's intended to provoke these responses I answer in the same tone. Maybe I'm wrong in my thinking....you people must think that all the questions asked are serious. Excuse me...I'll stand back and watch from now on. I'll just help the kids with their homework and the people that can't program a VCR. gimme a break. I'm probably wasting my time because you won't post this either. I'm chilicooker_mkb@yahoo.com.

I used to look forward to having a giggle with you all but some days the atmosphere seems a bit down.
So at the risk of yet another v mail coming my way I'm hoping to give you some thing to laugh at.

A man in the drs waiting room asks a lady why she is crying.

"I'm here for a blood test and the nurse will have to cut my finger" the lady sniffs.

The man starts to weep too.
"Why are you upset?" the lady asks.

The man looks at her pitifully and whispers:

"I'm here for a urine test!"

So my question is, have I brightened this page up enough to start putting the laughter back? lol x
