You will not learn anything by having others do your homework for you. Pay attention in english class. If you don't understand something, raise your hand and ask your teacher to explain it again. When you don't understand something and someone else gives you the answer, you just fall further behind as more complicated questions are based upon the simpler ones. Others may not have understood this in class either and they will respect you for asking the teacher to review it.

The passage speaks of two things. 1) The Solar System. 2) Life on Earth.

Normally in a paragraph, the topic sentence may be found as the first sentence. In any case, it is the sentence that forms the basic idea of what the paragraph speaks about. Other sentences would be added to support or give detail to the topic sentence.
