I guess so because the other day my teacher was talking about the time when she was in the second grade and it was pretty weird how she even remembered that so I think old people do remember how its is to be young

I assume you mean to ask if they accurately remember what it is to be young.

Most mature people are surrounded by constant examples of young people, unless they don't want to be. Even if they don't have young people physically around them, there are pictures, TV, the Internet.

But that's looking at young people today. Today, young people have iPods and fast cars and ... pictures, TV, and the Internet.

When mature people were young, they had walking, working, playing instruments, card games, telling stories, and singing songs. Darning socks. They couldn't go to the mall or play PS3.

So, they really aren't surrounded by constant reminders of what their own youth was like, but they are surrounded by constant reminders of what a young body is like.

As a House episode can remind us, the very young and the very old have a lot more in common than those in between. I'll bet they are re-discovering many things about their youth, while those in between are busy having totally different discoveries.

Ever notice how most grandparents love spoiling grandkids so much?

I think the answer to your question is "Yes."

Yes, but they learned through experience about of a lot the consequences that come with being that age and probably dp not want the youth to have to learn things the hard way...but then again, just because your physically older doesn't mean that you still aren't young at heart...

You betcha. I keep reminding my kids that not only did I used to be young, but what things were like back then. Oh, and I still act like a kid half the time.

Too well, and we know the difficulties of youth, I am not going to say it was better then, we all have our own memories, I am happy in my old years, for I can compare now to then, and I feel how easy life is for me, compared to what my parents had.

We all grow older but we never forget how it felt to be young. I am still very young at heart.

my late grandpa did, infact he lashed out at people who said that he was old..... He was so trying to hold onto his youth, it was sooo annoying! He would always do stuff that he couldn't do anymore and hurt himself a lot..... that was stupid yet amusing at the same time.....
